Italy v England - March 15th
First topic message reminder :
Thought i'd get one of these up and running and I haven't spotted another.
Firstly, congratulations to the boys for a superb performance against Wales, backing up a strong showing versus Ireland. Will the usual complacency be an issue this year? The lat two occasions we've faced Italy it's actually been both a poor performance and a lot closer.

i don't think we'll win by a cricket score, i think it will be fairly tense to start with.

If England are around 15 to the good at half time then I think that they will finish off in style. Cant see them winning by 50points away from home though. Italy are strong at home.

I'd like to see more of that girl standing beside that singer bloke. Fantastic. The way she was looking at him with hungry eyes. I wouldn't be able concentrate on the singing. It's turkey time.

No way are we going to get enough points but the win is essential.

The win is essential because we all know what Ireland are like in France...

I didn't like Inverndale say that France have a slight chance if England don't win big in Italy. No they have a big chance if England lose!

They start pushing just before the ball is put in. Clever if you get away with it.

So now it's at least 53 points they need to score, not 50

England look too desperate, they should just keep their structure.

You can tell there trying to play to score 50 odd points, at this rate they won't win!

Re: Italy v England - March 15th
Question.
If you are on the ground, you are out of the game, therefor you may not tackle a player?
Surely Italy should have gotten a penalty for the desperate tackle on the Italian 14?

Thats a new one to me, not being able to tackle a player whilst not on your feet.

Only if it's a ruck/maul/etc. not in open play, as far I'm aware

Not sure about rule but it was open play so looked ok to me.
