We usually start off the season pretty poorly but that was just beyond woeful. Literally one play made by the whole team during the second half (a sack by Mayo). Just shocking.

Still it'll be fun to see all the other AFC East fans declare this is there year before falling going under .500 again

Week 1 and I'm already bored to tears with the NFL media's obsession with comparing today's Robert Griffin with the rookie Robert Griffin. How about just saying that J.J. Watt played like what he is - the best defensive player in the league. He was a man possessed last night.

Griffin can't win - if he tries to take off and outrun the pass rush then he gets slagged off for taking too many risks. If he stands in the pocket and throws the ball away or eats a sack when the D-Line is on top of him within a couple of seconds then he gets slagged off for being a shadow of his former self.

NFL.com is the worst culprit for this. Their reporting is bottom of the barrel stuff. Ten times worse than your average British tabloid.
