Still think Spain have 1 more WC left in them before they transition to a new team.
Argentina have plenty of attacking potential but always end up imploding. Brazil to crumble for me.

Germany for me. I can't see Brazil winning with such a shoddy defence. And Argentina have more egos than a Dutch team in the early 00s.

I've got Spain winning it also
Germany - quarters at best for me
Brazil - will go deep just on home advantage

Really? For me, they are the most solid Brazilian team I have seen.
I would question Argentina's defence more.

Mafia is good for me. All week in fact, as the boss isn't in.
Affers - Thiago Silva is good, but any team that relies on David Luiz, Dani Alves and Marcelo for defence? At least Cafu and Roberto Carlos were good at the back as well as going forward. I can see any team with a winger with pace (Sterling, Rodriguez etc) would take Brazil apart at the back.
Three things I want to see at the World Cup:
1. Belgium win.
2. Jo and Klose both score goals.
3. Fat Frank Lampard crying over another disallowed goal, then retiring immediately because he's a fat crybaby.

For most teams Brazil will play, that plus Gustavo will suffice. Might see Dante in big games.

Foster doesn't have dandruff. I wouldn't want Buffon's glorious hair to pick up Hart's man-flakes. He's disgusting.sodhat wrote:Let it never be said you're a West Brom homer, Azzy.

Glad AC have sacked Seedorf. That's his comeuppance for last night. Now all we need is for someone to dunk Edgar Davids' head in a toilet.

Foster is an international quitter, a heathen and traitor not befitting the glorious England jersey.
Don't worry about comeuppance for Davids, he has glaucoma and he managed Barnet. Man knows suffering.

"It is hard when you are away for 10 days or two weeks [with England], especially when you've got kids who are two or three years old. I almost feel as if I'm missing a part of their growing up really. It is very hard to take and couple that with not playing and you feel as though you have lost two weeks of your life for nothing really. I'm a big family person – growing up I had a brother and a sister, so it's something that I hold in high regard."
He came up with the injury story because it was plausible and people would 'understand' it. Same way Stephen Ireland said his nan had died so he could go home to his girlfriend who'd had a miscarriage. Same way Graham Dorrans came to training the day after his girlfriend had had a miscarriage. Footballers feel like clubs/managers don't care about their family lives, so they all come up with other reasons to pull out.

I think people would understand the family angle, now more than before at least. I don't consider it unusual to have someone miss a game because their missus is popping a sprog.
Still, let's not deflect from the original point that Hart > Foster anyway.

Foster with no dandruff > Hart with dandruff. Think of Buffon's hair. Plus, Foster has never been dropped for a 6ft 7in Lurch Doppelganger.

You just cost me 10 minutes of work reading about the man that played Lurch.
He was 6"9' in real life. He died aged 46 due to being well massive. The more you know.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXIV
Hiya guys, I've got Good News and Bad News. Actually 2 pieces of Good News. First of all, the good news is that my job hours have been extended until a 5 O'Clock finish for the next 6 weeks, due to a maximum workload I have got. The 2nd piece of Good News is that even though with extra work hours and various other housing problems, I am still going to 100% committed with the league and will help out and contribute as much as possible in the allotted time I have on 606v2. The bad news however is that I'm having an extension put onto my housing space for leisure and outdoor seating areas, an extension to my garden space as well just to make my garden a little bit bigger and also I'm getting a fully refurbished kitchen and eating area as well. This is also projected to take around 6-8 weeks. So it fits quite nicely with my time scale, thankfully. So half of my electricity will be cut off with my internet supply also being cut off from time to time, so I won't be responding immediately.
Just thought I'd give everyone a update, so if I'm not on for a day or two, you know where I am. Also, has there been any more development in this league or are we still waiting for all the links before we get rolling?
