First topic message reminder :

Born Slippy wrote:Murray is surely going to go all out attack in the SF. I can't see him beating Nadal who is starting to look close to his peak form. However, if he can give him a tough match that will be very encouraging for Wimbledon.

Yep, it'll be all guns blazing I imagine. Going after every return he can and trying to end points quickly. It'll be fun to watch, but if you offered me a 4 set defeat for Muzza now I'd bite your hand off.

For those of you that watched, what happened in the 4th? Live text reports saying that both players looked like they were struggling with the heat. Is it that hot?

If Novak is getting pooped by the 4th set, he can kiss any chance of beating Rafa goodbye.

Frig, could it get any harder. Having to beat a legend that has won 63/64 at RG and then Dok in a final.

Would it be the greatest win ever?

Rafa's been great, but he'll be delighted that Murray hasn't been that aggressive. He's been too patient. What's happened to the ultra aggressive return position?

Only Novak can stay with Rafa in a war of attrition. I'm a little surprised Murray is trying to.

Just hit it man. Blaze of glory and all that.

Andy in this short match was able to draw a lot of errors from Rafa's forehand compared to Rafa's backhand, it should be his clear strategy, Murray's backhand to Rafa's running forehand.

So Andy is getting thrashed....not unexpected considering what has gone before. Plus consider Rafa is the greatest clay-courter of all-time whilst for Andy clay is his weakest surface. Still it has been an insipid performance so far - reminds me of Tsonga's tame exit against Djokovic earlier in the tournament. Certainly a long way from Andy's best.
