Ramires is a talentless thug who steals a living. He only gets played in these games to kick the crap out of the opposition players.

What were you expecting, We know when it comes to big games Chelsea park the bus and today is nothing new. It's why Ramires & not Oscar is playing.

Why a defender exacerbates a poor tackle by getting involved in afters is beyond me.

Sod the multimillion pound premadonnas that build my hopes up only to leave me deflated each week, this week my son finally attempted a Maradona turn in a competitive match and he pulled it off and managed to nutmeg his opponent in the process too.

Courtois only has one clean sheet this season. Given the quality of the man he's benching. He must be running on borrowed time

No clue. But it's still one clean sheet in six. Season before, Cech was joint top on the clean sheets chart.

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
Our right-hand side is becoming a bit of a defensive liability at the moment. Ivanovic has always tended to be quite narrow, and with our wingers playing a more advanced role and offering less protection it's become a bit problematic.
Decent result, but shame to not win having got the lead against ten men. Had Costa's shot gone in instead of hitting the post we'd have probably won, but hey! draw at Man City still a good point IMO. Obviously mixed feeling about Lamps.

different mentality. This Chelsea side isn't set up to defend, so are going to concede more (though I'll eat my hat if we let in 5 at Leicester ). No keeper in the world would have saved that one, the blame for the goal goes to Schurle/Ivanovic.
Cech will probably get a run out in the League Cup on Wednesday, and I suspect Remy will start too.

The obvious counter to that is of course... What did Cech do wrong to get dropped?

I'm in shock to be honest Nando, still think we'll be ok but today was inexcusable from the ref but most of all from the players, went 3-1 up then switched off completely.

I have to say that that penalty, the first one, resulted from one of the worst refereeing decisions that I have ever seen in my life.

Sure it wasn't a penalty but to turn off like that was just pathetic really. Just made it look like you bought players more interested in their wages then fighting for the team.

We stopped fighting for the ball Nando and once they scored a fortuitous equaliser we started chasing the game. Leicester did well by playing to the weakness of our defence, bypassed the midfield on almost every attack whicj should be easy to defend against.

Ref was an absolute tramp today.
Thankfully we will have someone who knows the rules for most of the season.
Roll on next week.

Scored 6 goals and concealed 5 ..And got 5 points from 3 games

Left the house yesterday to go to the rugby, Utd went 3-1. Picked up a mate, 3-3. Arrived at the pub, 5-3! I can see why the ref didnt give a foul against Vardy. It looked like Rafael bottled the shoulder charge battle and fell over.

Absolutely, if Arsenal plays like they are capable the league isn't out of reach. Although to be fair, I can't see us pipping Chelsea with the players they got. That being said, I thought Chelsea were pretty poor and should have lost this match if not for Mike Dean happening. The first yellow for Zabaleta was pretty harsh, the second more solid. Still a great weekend. If Wenger can get us a good squad player or two defensively and in defensive midfield in January and injuries don't decimate us as usual who knows we could be in there with a shout.
