A good point, though you can not have a full night of snobbery without pretending you know your cigars surely?
Maybe there is a reall classy smoking shelter out back?

Not a massive fan of cigars. Make my mouth dry. Tried smoking them at cricket instead of normal cigarettes when we were batting. Tend to plough through a packet when waiting to bat.
Always remember one of the rugby team's Dad chuffing a cigar during games in my schiool days. Lovely smell on a crisp winter's afternoon.

That's the one. If Galted hangs around long enough, he will see a fat bastard and a slimmer, better looking chap going in. That will be me. The slimmer one, not the fat bastard.
Rick; Dirty Dicks is a boozer on the corner. Never been in there. Glated has though.
Went on a first date there with an Irish girl I met on a dating site. She was very charming but clearly a closet lesbian as she didn't want to see me again. Her loss for being hasty though, I never let on that I own a Wolfskin wirh a detachable hood.
Glated has done some serious bumming and felching in the toilets there even though it's not a g*y pub.

Can you make it in time Galted? Despite Tina's previous words I am pretty sure he would love you to turn up and have a quick drink with him and his brother.

By the sounds of it you can track his brother on Google Maps to see time of arrival...

I'll almost certainly have steak. They are great in there.
I won't have Foie gras though. I have a problem with how they farm the geese. I'll probably have the haggis to start.
Yeah, we're phucking swimming in foie gras in Scotland. I could barely get my fridge shut last night because of all the bastarding foie gras.

It's Christmas so I'll back off but come New Year if you're still persisting with that level of knob-jockery I may break the habit of a lifetime, travel south of Nottingham and scatter your internals across the Home Counties

There will be no Pear Cider when you roll with Tina. It will be the finest single malts washed down with Cristal and copious amounts of cocaine.

It's Galtova's favourite alcoholic drink and now, thanks to a campaign of threats and blackmail, mine as well.
Sometimes I'm allowed to drink wine or Amarula and, once, a beer. I find pear cider to be quite crisp and refreshing, and mixes well into some dishes.

Tesco's own brand cider is the way forward. Less abrasive than Aldi's Taurus, and crisper than your standard plonk like Strongbow. Scrumpy Jack is alright but at £5ish for 4 it can't compete with the £2.29

As a fellow connoisseur of said brew, Rod Clifford has the taste just right for cheap cider.
I think Galted would like Tescos Pear Cider too.
Re: The Culture Cup Round x - Adam is a naughty naughty boy
Thanks chaps. The pear cider I've been buying is £5.50 for 3 which is a bit of a rip-off.

I was being serious! I didnt look it up - I just stare at the empty tesco cider can quite often pondering the meaning of my life and I see his name quite often (master cider maker).
Lidls Pear Cider is also very good.
If you want a good winter cider, try and get hold of Addlestones cloudy cider. Really warms you up.
Had a cider day in the summer, and these are the ones we got through (s well as some Welsh Cider which was flat but good).
Hazy Hog was great.

I live very close to the Hog's Back Brewery. Nearly got them supplying our bar at the club but it didn't quite work out. Got a good taster supply on the house which was a positive.

Old Rascal was very tasty too.

The Hog's Back is quite an interesting place. It is a long thin hill mounted by a bit of dual carriageway which stretches from Farnham to Guildford.Marks the start of the South Downs. Mike Hawthorn (First British F1 champion) copped it there racing a random bloke. There's also a layby with a cafe which attracts those types who like their sex outdoors

You know how it works for his schools chums, school reunions, take one for old times sake, wave the willy to signal the next one in the queue. Combine that with age related stamina issues and whats a bit of semen upon friends?

Didn't see him either though I was on the look-out for him. Saw a dapper-looking chap at the Bishopsgate exit at Liverpool Street who I thought might be Tino soI strode up to him and asked, expectantly, "are you Tino?"
He said, "no".
I'm starting to wonder if Tino really exists.

Morning all - hopefully the last day of client's IT procurement madness and then I can get back to having some sort of a life. Midnight finishes and 7:00 starts for a couple of weeks now and I'm starting to look like the photographic negative of myself.
