Haye ready for comeback!
First topic message reminder :
Hi everyone. Hope Christmqs has been a good one. Here is just a little something for some of the Haye doubters out there to ponder.
Former two-division world champion David Haye (26-2, 24KOs) has assured his fans that they haven't seen the last of him. The 34-year-old boxer is promising to return in style. Haye has been inactive since July 2012, when he knocked out Dereck Chisora.
Since the win over Chisora, injuries forced him to withdraw from planned fight with Manuel Charr and two scheduled dates with Tyson Fury. The second injury promoted Haye to get right shoulder surgery and says doctors advised me to retire.
"The shoulder is fixed, for me that was the most important thing. I didn't want to rush an announcement [on my comeback], have a set back, and have to have another six months out," Haye told The Independent. "I'm punching harder than before now because of the rehab. My right is now stronger than my left and is stronger than before surgery. Trust me, 2015 is the return of 'The Hayemaker', I'll be bigger, better, faster, stronger, with a new plan."
This is exactly what I have been expecting. I think after a year of disappointment 2015 is going to be a HUGE one for Haye. He is fit again and already plotting his comeback. We havent seen the last of the Hyemaker! Expect big things in 2015!

But yet you criticise the unbeaten Wilder with 32 wins all by KO? I don't get you. You understand why that stat is crud but handily can't do the same with Valuevs record. That's a good skill in agreements, play dumb.
Er I am asking how a boxer who was heavyweight champion and only lost two fights was a miserable failure. Did I call Wilder a miserable failure? I dont think so.
Without going back through the thread, I'd wager you've called him a bum. Valuev was manouvered away from every tough challenge, up until Haye who he couldn't avoid. Go look at his record, there are no names on there, he beat an old Ruiz twice, an old and well past his prime Holyfield, before losing to Haye. He is not a great fighter, and for someone with his dimensions (height, weight and reach) he was woefully unskilled.
How much do you want to wager then?

People are talking rubbish when they call Valuev a miserable failure and Haye not a world class heavyweight. Simple as.
How would you rate Norton, Young, Johnson or Jeffries as Heavyweights?

Re: Haye ready for comeback!
Good God almighty, how much more of this cheapjack BS does one have to endure? Why is this rubbish clogging up the upper reaches of the board when so much more relevant and interesting discussion is forced to toil in its miserable shadow?
This is all about a man who has had one fight in the past three and a half years and is a boxer in the same way that Richard Branson is an astronaut - mostly in his own mind and in his spare time. The man weighs around 15 stone, so you'd imagine that he might be a good hitter, just as a midget makes a decent fist of being short. In fact, Haye does have a reasonable heavyweight dig, so long as he can conserve the energy to throw it. In general, his propensity to throw no more than a dozen shots a round on average ensures that he will probably always fall short against a bigger heavyweight who knows what he's doing, even allowing for the benighted era of big men with which we are saddled.
It's more than enough. It would be good to see the single-issue OP try to express an opinion on another subject - dry stone-walling, for example. Failing that, could someone in authority not drop this post into the stew of pus-addled poison where it belongs and do likewise with every subsequent post about David Haye until he at least condescends to step between the ropes of a professional boxing ring again, this time accoutred for battle? It would make the business of tuning into this board a whole lot more pleasant and maybe even guarantee a bit more interest from some proper posters (Manos, Colonial Lion, Jimmy Stuart, etc etc), whose names have been sadly missing in action for far too long.

Actually, I merely picked up your complete dismissal of Wilder as a Haye opponent. No credit at all but Valuev, well he was a great champion, only 2 losses don't you know!!

You are the one calling him a miserable failure mate. Pull on a pair of gloves and show him how its done eh?
I said Wilder would be an easy nights work for Haye - which he would. You are out there accusing boxers with only two losses and a heavyweight championship a miserable failure. Dont try put words in my mouth when you are spouting rubbish.

Drop the BS it's getting tiresome, you are not quantifying or qualifying any of your statements in the slightest, repeating the same statistic isn't going to make Valuev anything more than dreadfully average.

I've said nothing in those pms that I wouldn't say in this thread, however I thought you may have some maturity and react differently in a pm, I was clearly wrong and now realise I dealing with an immature person who can't stand to have anyone stand against him. Sad really.

Sorry could you stop trying backtrack all over the place.
Its pretty simple - you called Valuev a miserable failure of a boxer. I think someone who has won the heavyweight championship and only lost two fights to be called a miserable failure is a bit of a joke.

Haye maker. Klitschko isn't rubbish. Value got beaten by chagaev ruiz evander holyfields grandma before Haye fought him. Ergo he's Poopie relative to most other heavies even in this poor era
Re: Haye ready for comeback!
And captain your angry posts are probably equally pleasant to me as the feelings provoking them are unpleasant to you.
Re: Haye ready for comeback!
Hayemaker probably had Haye losing 114-113 in a robbery against Wlad.
You sound like D4. Which should be enough to make you kill yourself when Haye never makes much of a comeback and retires leaving you with a big huge void as you only follow one fighter and mistakenly came on a forum for boxing fans as opposed to fans of one fighter.

Thats a bit confrontational. Which moderator wants to deal with it?

Must be a conundrum for Adam.
"Here's another muppet, better ban him. Hmmm, if we ban all the muppets all we'd be left with is moderators... Chris writing large monologues and rowley moderating him with the occasional pithy comment. It doesn't fit well with our business plan growth projection but it would be far less hassle."

Anyway I'm saddened by the loss of Hayemaker as I've now being reinstated as the boards number one David Haye nuthugger. I was grateful for the break to be honest but no rest for the wicked...unlike Mr Haye who seems to have upped his training for a comeback by unbraiding his hair and flying off on holiday.

Can't say that I understand the ban, yeah he was either a wum or in love with haye. I must have missed where he broke the house rules. He threw a large net, and caught a lot of posters (me included), but the nonsense in that thread has been keeping the boards ticking over the quiet post Xmas period.
