Yeah. But you kinda get bored of it like shisha, so i'm hoping to stick to it for long enough that I don't crave cigarettes and then let boredom take its course.

You could try helping em along instead of sneering from the sidelines. A little bit of paint on your fists and several punches to the face will be interpreted as the actions of a supportive and decent friend. Might also point towards a less poofy and less painful hobby.
