This has become about who can make the stupidest error to hand the game to the opposition and when it comes to stupidity, we're the undoubted kings.

EWT Spoons wrote:I can only assume Solly has a soft spot for Ulster, the man didn't even know he had a bench for most of the season, now he's brought on Hilterbrand when Cochrane was on form, Strauss when we have advantage in midfield and Blake, and he must have drugged Heathcote or changed his boots for 3x sizes too small.
My thought too.

If Edinburgh somehow don't win this, they'll kick themselves so hard they'll not be able to field a team next week for broken legs.

I said I wanted to win this anyway possible, but we do not deserve the four points. It's been a competition to see who can self-destruct faster.

Yes, a draw would be fair because no-one deserves four points from this.

Hilterbrand will be getting a lot of flak but for me Heathcote and Hart have been pathetic.

I have no idea how we won that match, no idea at all. I feel sorry for Edinburgh we didn't deserve to win that we were so bad.

Unbelievable. 2 man advantage and we attack the one place where they outnumber us. Hart was great against the Ospreys, but poor tonight.

Well probably fair to say Edinburgh lost that, rather than Ulster winning!

How on earth did we get away with a win?!!!
Awful game from Ulster. Didn't deserve the win, but I'll take it! McCloskey was brainless in picking up the red, although it did look a little harsh. The ref.................
Anyway, job done.

No not challenging that last maul I do believe ulster showed a flicker of a briancell. I'm bamboozled. You could say both teams deserved no points in fairness

I'm not too happy because of that performance... I can't believe we played that badly and got away with it. It was a terrible game!

The paradox is, we didn't deserve it either! What happens when two totally undeserving teams collide? Someone has to win no matter how bad the game is. Bemused.

Re: Edinburgh V Ulster
I disagree with Paddy Wallace he was head at the bottom feet at the top with no control over what would happen next so there was every danger to the player there. The law says Red and it was a red, fair decision
Re: Edinburgh V Ulster
Still baffled. Scottish sides & Edinburgh have served up some right old dross over the years but that was something else. The ineptitude shown by Edinburgh was breathtaking.
Re: Edinburgh V Ulster
Half backs poor from Edinburgh, a shame as it knocks the good momemtum of recent games. I was always a big Heathcote fan, but not tonight, a poor game, hart as well. Lets not even mention Hilterbrand, three squint throws, unbelievable!

Absolutely not worth rdw. For me the only thing to take is the four points and keeping ulster in the top six for Heineken cup rugby next season with (hopefully) a decent coach in charge

Edinburgh got worst as the game went on, so you certainly missed the best bits
