Did anyone see that Louis Theroux show with Keith Harris, he came across as a bit of a tragic figure, had so much to be positive about, nice house, lovely family, good income etc and all he seemed to focus on was not being on the TV any more, which seemed to me the only negative in his life.

I find Louis Theroux such an objectionable character that I can not watch anything he does...

I don't mind him, used to really enjoy Weird Weekends, his more serious recent stuff I have been more take or leave with.

In all fairness to him Rick he has a degree from Cambridge, so there is a chance his intellectualism is not of the faux variety. He always said his aim was not to take the p*ss or particularly challenge these people but to give them an opportunity to share what they believed in public and let the public decide.

He wrote a book that caught up with some of the people he met through weird weekends and he does acknowledge that no matter how abhorrent or odd some of the peoples views were they generally tried to be nice to him, which he kind of appreciated, albeit with hindsight I think.
