Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
I don't believe that a Forward would make us champions. We need a DM too & a CB to replace Mertesacker in future.
I can see why Ozil gets depressed playing with Giroud & co. Created 155 chances only 17 taken

This is how the Premier League have shown that Benteke's goal should not have stood.

Not expecting much at OT today, guess we will just play on the counter, although, we will inevitably gift Rooney some goals to end his goal drought.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
I'd like to see us have a real go & not turn up & have our asses kicked. We need Mitrovic unsettling your backline, still not convinced on your defence, throw in some aggressive Serbian tactics & the pace & trickery of Aarons/Thauvin & Wijnaldum, then we might have some success. If Anita & Obertan are playing though, then it's goodnight Vienna & the game will be over by HT.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Schweinsteiger should look imperious against Anita & Colback. Would rather have had Tiote snapping away at his heels. McClaren is hoping we're still in the game with half hour to play, then unleashing Aarons & Thauvin. It's a pretty ropey looking side, Sissoko & Janmaat missing & I doubt Perez or Mitrovic are match fit, given they've played hardly any football. Be amazed if we get anything out of this one.

We weathered the storm, then hit the bar & looked dangerous towards the end of the half. United look too of run out of ideas

0-0 FT - superb point. Krul & the defensive performance was top class. Man U are very, very ordinary & woeful in the final third. Schweinsteiger & Rooney failed to deliver anything either.

Think that showed why we should have gone in for Pedro when we had the chance.

Embarassing stuff.
Sign a striker who can control the ball and score a goal- get rid of Rooney.

Good point for Newcastle. Point at old Trafford is always a good result for visiting teams, regardless of what situation they're in off/on the pitch. Few more players needed by United id say.

As bad a performance from a full back as ive ever seen from Cresswell. Jenkinson playing awful. I know we've got some injuries but this is embarrassing

This is down to the Chairmen saying we can't buy any more players cos of FFP. We've spend £17m net. And we've gone through a summer and still have to have Nolan starting and Maiga on the bench once we have some injuries.

Well that's not a good sign. FFP only seems to effect smaller clubs considering Citeh/Chelsea spending 60m+

The FFP thing doesn't affect us on transfer fees, its wages where they are contained. Its them trying to stay up on the cheap before we move. They do everything on the cheap, their business was porn.

Good game this, Shaqiri and Van Ginkel are a cut above every player on the pitch.

gomis is just following in bony's footsteps at swansea, must be a joy to be spearheading that side, with that much creativity behind. united go to swansea next, that should be interesting.

Pretty clear pen. Dangles a leg in the area, such a striker defending in the box penalty. No centre back does that.
