Leaving the stadium, not seen such an inspired performance as Jack Butland put in this second half - absurd performance!!

Surely, not as good as Tim Krul's at White Hart Lane?

Nearly as good - and he has a broken finger as well!
Disappointed we didn't win, but can't be disappointed with the way we played second half. Magnificent stuff

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Does Van Gaal have the balls to drop Rooney who, once again, was absolutely atrocious - both in general open play and in front of goal.
Great result for Bournemouth, and a very decent point for Sunderland.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
He's made him captain and got rid of rvp.
He'll be playing no matter what, sadly. Should go and play for reserves until he has something resembling fitness and sharpness.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Problem is striker wise there's not really anyone else, Chicarito fluffed himself through on goal and Wilson hasn't seen much game time.
Stick Depay up front?
Or a simple answer...buy a ruddy striker!!!

West Ham's defending really was pub standard.
Class game though. Think Bourenmouth will be involved in a few classics this season.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
We played well yesterday.
Mistake from Amavi, but he's been good so far.
Shame to lose it so late on. Palace is a tough place to go.
Sunderland home saturday. Hopefully we can get the 3 points.

Very underrated team. Clearly not intimidated by Chelsea. Should be a goal up.

Now they've conceded the softest of goals.

They're an awful awful side - not entertaining in the slightest - least Sunderland are funny

A goal and an assist for the man not good enough for Man United

You appear to have confused West Brom with Norwich.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
West Brom will be one of about 10 teams flirting around the bottom of the table battle. WBA, Norwich, B'Mouth, Sunderland, Leicester (they'll drop down, it always happens), Toon, West Ham, Watford, Villa. Depending on Europe the Saints may play around with the lower half until they get knocked out.
They just have to hope that any Berahino sale sees money reinvested. Not sure Pulis' plan from Palace works so well with McManaman and McClean when before with Palace it was Punch and Bolasie.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Mata in a central role would be fine, though on the right is just head scratching as he's got no pace whatsoever. Why he puts him there but sticks Januzaj through the middle I just don't understand.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Mata was grim on the Middle, been a lot better wide since he was moved there.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
I like him out wide. Think he cuts in to fill the space the central man leaves when bursting behind the backline. And that drift in is creating some lovely angles on the pass.
Need Depay to be getting on the shoulder of defences because Mata will find him as likely as anyone else in the league. Except 2015/16 Player of the Year Coutinho.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
I much prefer him in the central role where he can dictate the game, with Depay on the other side it's making Utd very one sided and unbalanced attacking wise. He's holding up the play rather than unleashing it there.

2-3 - Morrison with a lovely backwards header from a great McManaman cross.
