Anything is preferable to footballers. Watched match of the day and they all just look like bellends nowadays. You know their idea of a night out is going to a club, drinking diet coke, pulling a couple of groupies and going back to their mansions to play FIFA. George Best will be turning in his grave.

Played a side on Saturday near Chelsea's training ground. Apparently John Tewwy turned up with 'his' wife and kids one evening last year while they were practising. They called him over and asked him to bowl a few. He was quite good apparently.

Best I've had at our place was opening up the pavilion for Roger Black so him and his kid could have a lash.

On a seperate note, that Jon Ronson book will be with me soon. I got an email saying it was on its way. They only had one copy in the whole of the Hertfordshire library system, and that was at a prison!

I think I may head out to Australia when I finish here. Have about 2 weeks holiday left but may just take the money.

I'm going to the States next week but have a night in Reykjavik on the way. I might start a thread about it.
