You are proving my point. Had you maybe exolained the misunderstanding to everyone we may have let it slide and reinstated you. Something like what bs did. What you're doing now proves that we are correct... You're behaviour is t close to good enough

Then treat it's posters. As well as its rules with some respect, you show none to either. You honestly think after this temper tantrum you can say that?
Murray cruising through by the way. Looks to be nailed on as a repeat of the Madrid final

Re: Rome Masters 2016
Murray solid in the first, and terrific in the second. Takes it 6-2 6-1. Pouille never really settled, but Murray was way too good today. Great week for Pouille though, and will move up to about 31 in the world after this tournament apparently, into the seeds for RG.
Murray had a nice draw, which has opened up even more, but has dispatched all opponents with tremendous confidence so far. He'll at least be nice and fresh for tomorrow's final.

What kind of points lead is he gonna have over Roger cone RG? There's a very minor chance he could be seeded 2 at wimby

Re: Rome Masters 2016
Well they were level on points going into this one, and Murray has (at least) 600 points from a final here, wheread Feds takes 90 for a third round appearance, so Murray has a 510 point lead going into RG.
I think someone mentioned that Feds would take about 1200 points from past grass court efforts, so assuming that's correct Murray needs to find another 700 from tomorrow and RG.
A lot depends on whether Feds actually plays RG, or not. He has 360 points to defend there. If he doesn't then a win for Murray tomorrow and a final appearance in Paris (improving on last year's effort) would see him comfortably to number 2. If Feds plays RG and makes it past eh first few rounds then Murray would really need to win RG...

Good result for Andy but a bit one sided to say the least!
Never mind even if you don't beat Novak? tomorrow you will have picked up close to half a million pounds for ten days work over the past couple of weeks, although money now is just secondary.
By the way Jahu I find most of your comments funny and a forum such as V2 needs this, although you do go overboard re Novak at times!

Fair enough. That might convince fed to play RG. Though hopefully that won't hurt him come the grass season

I may be wrong but I don't think last years Rome points drop off until Monday. If so Federer drops 600 points and Murray 90 before this weeks points are added on. I'll leave the calculations on what that would mean to someone else.

Re: Rome Masters 2016
Hmm you could be right. Does that mean Murray now has a 1000 point lead over Feds as it stands? In which case he has a decent chance of going to Wimbledon as number 2.
Murray will move up to number 2 in the race after this tournament BTW, unless Nishikori wins it.

So did Murray win? What was the score? I'm trying to work out if the number of points in the match was more/less than the number of posts I deleted from Jahu's multiple accounts.

I know ns. He had already come back from that. But he's hone again and this time it looks got good..
Murray won with ease. He's prooly gonna be around 600-1000 ahead of fed by the end. The race for wimby seeding looks to be on

Re: Rome Masters 2016
Did not have a chance to see any of the Nole-Nadal match but the scoreline seems to be just about perfect to make RG wide open. If Rafa had won then I would have also made him the favorite for RG. If Nole had blown Rafa away, Nole would remain the big favorite.
As it is, Nole is still the favorite but they now may be close enough that if they were to meet in Paris, then Nole could - with all the pressure - slip just enough to allow Rafa to win.

Re: Rome Masters 2016
Here are the players that have scored most points in the MC/Madrid/Rome combo so far (with Andy, Nole and Nishi still playing in Rome):
1. Andy - 1560pts
2. Nadal - 1540
3. Nole - 1370
4. Nishi - 720 (skipped MC)
5. Monfils - 655
6. Pouille - 495
7. Tsonga - 450 (skipped Rome)
8. Raonic - 405
9. Wawrinka - 315
9. Berdych - 315
11. Thiem - 280
11. Goffin - 280
Andy/Rafa/Nole clearly the top 3 so far, with Nishi clearly #4 (if he were to beat Nole today, then he would be right up there with the other three, especially considering he skipped MC).
I would note that guys like Raonic, Stan and Berdych all scored more points than much more heavily hyped Thiem.
Nole and Rafa are the two favorites for Paris, but Andy has really been right up there with them this clay court season. It would be funny if he got his first FO title before Novak.

I think a loss today wouldn't be a bad thing for Novak. I think if he was to come through two punishing matches it would do more harm than good. He has won Rome 4 times already.
I think a loss here could be a blessing in disguise to be honest. It's not like he needs the ranking points !!

It does seem to me that Djokovic finds Nishikora just that little bit more difficult to dispatch than Murray. Maybe it has something to do with playing styles, or maybe I am mistaken?

It seems to me that Nishikori could be the next new Grand Slam winner outside the top 3 + 1 + Wawrinka. Doesn't seem to be anyone else out there capable as yet. Although he will probably have to wait another year or so. He performed poorly at Wimbledon & US Open last year - but maybe he was carrying an injury.
