They bought this bowl thing for six quid and sold it for 160. I'll not forget today in a hurry that's for sure. I caught a bus the last time I was in London. They didn't take money! Absolute witchcraft.

Started out good then went bad and was rescued by a thunderw*nk late last evening. Suspension on the car rear tyre packed it in. Not from the w*nk - the w*nk was a consolation. How was yours?

Mine was good, chilled out Friday night, then at a comic fair in Leeds followed by a good old fashioned session with friends, then did the family rounds yesterday.

Not that kind of comic fair Jules, it was a trade fair as opposed to a convention. So buying and trading comics mainly, rather than signings and cos-play.

The journey was a belter, as was the journey back. Managed to avoid surrendering my seat to a doting dad and his annoying kids by continually rereading the CC thread. Made 4 (four) bus journeys yesterday.

Spain was very hot and humid and my kids were a f*cking nightmare but on a positive note, I tracked Wlad down, gave him a bit of a slap and told him that should he continue to treat you with disdain then I'd be back to finish the job. He seemed suitably terrified despite his claims not to know what I was talking about.

Funny thing is, he's not nearly as physically imposing in real life as you'd imagine him to be. When I saw him he was a lot older, shorter, frailer and disguised as a Spanish woman!

On the contrary mate, the longer I stay there, the less chance of someone digging up the back garden or garage floor!

Hot and humid and my kids were a nightmare. 15 hours a day of fighting and arguing, nagging, weeping, begging for toys, sweets, they were too hot, the air conditioning was too cold, they didn't want to go here, wanted to go there instead and on and on and on. Overlapped with the in-laws for a week which meant I didn't even get a sex on my birthday!

Mind you there is a guy in my office, who has been with his missus for a good 10 years, and when they go on holiday his in-laws make them sleep in different rooms... (they are not married but for the sake of F**k)
