Keeper Rules

- 3 players per year max.
- Can keep players twice (so three years total per guy) before forcible release.
- Players take the value of their draft round in the first redraft.
- Players move up in value by 5 rounds for the second redraft, or as high as they can go otherwise.
- If you end up with stacked picks (multiple players as keepers who count as the same round) they build up backward. e.g. if my keepers are draft picks 3, 4 and 5, I would lose draft picks 3, 4 and 5 in the first redraft and 1, 2 and 3 in the second as each player would be upgraded to an effective 1st rounder by the 5 round rule and therefore stack up.
- Undrafted players are valued at round 10 for the first redraft.
- Traded players initially count as there drafted position with the +5 rule in effect for all subsequent years.
- Years of eligibility are team specific, based on the round value of the player when traded to you. e.g. if a player is drafted in round 12 and is kept by another team for one season they will be valued as a round 7 pick when traded in year two due to the +5 rule.
- Abuse of the above rule by trading away a player over the keeper period only to get them back afterward will invalidate the resetting of two year eligibility.
- Once a player has no eligibility left on a given team they will count as a 1st rounder if traded away to somebody else and retained

Well there is plenty to play for this week...

Division 1
I am out in front and a win gets me the division, but a loss likely eliminates me as my points scored is much lower than the various other 7-6 teams including two division rivals who should take the top spot with a win.
The Bath City Blues need to win to get in, either as a wildcard or a division champion.
The Memphis Hound Dogs need a win, and losses for the San Francisco Trams and Bath City Blues to take the division. A wild card appears possible only with a large points differential, a win for the Bath City Blues and a loss by the San Francisco Trams.

Division 2
Sri Lanka Rams are the only team to have clinched a spot in the post season, and they are the number 1 seed.
They Put a Hole in the Roof are in a good spot, needing a win to take the wildcard spot. However a loss potentially eliminates them as they are playing fellow wildcard chaser Bath City Blues who have a better points scored. They would still be a wildcard with a loss if the San Francisco Trams lose and the Memphis Hound Dogs don't score bucketloads.

Division 3
Second Hand Secondary should take the division due to a superior points scored to Thunder & Lightning. The latter look to be out of the wild card race due to their low points scored... but I may have the tiebreakers wrong!

Number 1 pick for me in next year's draft!!!

Cam needs to have the performance of the century for me to stay in. The team really did not perform in the playoffs unfortunately.
