I think it could go either way - I think anyone expecting an easy win needs their bumps felt ...

You can see from the score predictions on the game. There is no consistency - they are all over the place.

Yeah, This really can go in any direction. It makes for a hell of a tournament.
If the England back row can mostly play the Wales back row even, then think England have a good chance. Looking forward to it.

Got that good old 6 nations nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach. Feel like I'm going for an interview!

Sadly, the women's game is something of a mismatch. England leading 38 - 0 at half time.

I always think that if Wales U20s and the women have won then the chances of the men making it a 3 win accumulator are quite slim. So for me we've got more chance now with the other two losing. Misguided logic perhaps!

Of course, I imagine there are some boisterous idiots in Cardiff already who are basing their prediction on the long winning run rather than any examination of the facts, but every team has them, Wales as much as England.
There are boisterous idiots in both camps P4...! Little anyone can do about that mate....!

Agree, Rather odd. Usually by now there are more people involved and at least a few people have their blood up and have moderator interventions. In a strange way I look forward to the red print telling people to keep their undies from getting too tight.Poorfour wrote:Weirdly quiet on here all week. Tried listening to the radio commentary for 5 mins but they were much more interested in talking to Non Evans than the actual rugby

What is happening with the Wales team, BBC doesn't seem to want to tell us if Biggar and North are fit.

Both are named on the official team sheet, which is somewhat positive.
Still think England by 9 or so, but I'd love us to really have a go at them.
Probably not the weekend to stop smoking mind

I dont think anyone really wants ro spend much time thinking about Rugby's answer to Donald Trump. Jones is fast becoming a gob Poopie.

Yeh would never have though that to be honest. Thought England would win. But never thought Wales would remain scorless.
Well played the England women.

Amateurs vs professionals to be fair. I watched the game and the gulf in class wasn't anything like the scoreline suggests. Wales created and competed but didn't have that extra 10% to finish anything.

As an Englishman I don't get the negativity for Cuthbert. He usually performs well against us. North has been ineffectual for years, not worried about containing him at all.

Come on Wales, send that gobshite back over the border, with the same result, he had when his team last played at this ground. (Australia 2005).

Thing is though, if Cuthbert does have a bad game we have nothing to replace him with either now. Our 23rd man is such a negative selection.
This nonsense of not blooding players is going to hurt us. The World Cup is the pinnacle, not this. I envy England a bit, that they have the guts to pick Clifford etc if they have to and not revert to type.

True. Ours aren't very good. It would be great to create a new one that we can all agree on, and that raises the spirits. Won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen

England didn't look right last game and they've started this the same way (accepting Wales are fired up and in Englands face)

Much better start by us. Looking in control so far and making yards at ease through the Welsh defence. Welsh forced into conceding a lot of pens.

Carrying throughout the pack which is helping. Wales look scared of Hughes and he's giving other players space with his threat. Keep it up boys!
