The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Cari wrote:Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I thought the Amlin draw was meant to take place today. Nothing about it on the ERC website.
Cari, what's with the sudden change of colour.

Lucky and Prop, it would be great if ye went too. This time, I want to have more time and drink with ye... The Diff Tour didnt allow it so much, as we were based out in the countryside.

I'm going down to London in a couple of weeks for Wimbledon and my train ticket cost me £11, so it's cheap enough to get there. National Express coaches are alright too.

Luckless aim for putney, there is a premier inn here, its grand I've stayed in it myself once or twice
But it's only 5 minutes from the station and there is a train every 7 minutes to Twickenham. Id offer my place but the micks have a long term lease on my couches

Exactly! I found that comments were getting missed so I've gone dark red. Easy on the eye, and noticeable.

Blame Staggy. We were on about it, and he suggested each person have their own little colour scheme so we'd know who was speaking. call it your virtual accent

The bottle of Armagnac kindly presented to me by Le Chef was opened last night and we had a wee dram each. Zap! Pow! We were still sleeping the sleep of the just when the building contractor chapped the door to start work at 0815 this morning! But it was yummy.
And I hate folk who say 'scotch' and don't offer me any.

Ha, Cari, the two bottles of vino rosso and the tagliatelle might have had something to do with it as well

I’m going brown town, and I like it!
BTW, Mick that bottle of Armagnac you gave me is still in Hughies, I was only taking hand luggage so couldn’t bring it on the plane. Must organize with Hughie to have it shipped over. A cracking memento though pal!

That's the other thing, the lighter colours don't work on the scheme of the board. Ah well. It's there if it gets too busy on the boards.

My mother rang me at seven o'clock this morning to tell me that she's bought me the Heino Final DVD for my birthday from Amazon and it'll be delivered to my house. It's not released until the 20th!

Sure if possible ship the two of them together, then just give me your bank number and I’ll transfer the funds. You’ll have to pay the €400 transfer fee but once we do that, all I need is money to bribe the official in the foreign affairs office and I will return your money with 3000% interest!
Yours faithfully,
Mikele Ado.

Deal, but I want my cut handed to me in blood diamonds that are a "gift" from you.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
You drive a hard bargain. But it’s a deal. And having just watched Blood Diamond the other night, I’m now familiar with what that actually means, which is handy…

That's true Dreamer, though I won't be drinking as I'm starting my first week doing the youth group at church.
But after that, down to the SU bar.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
aaah the SU bar, good memories of that place.
You looking forward to the Youth group?
And as sad as it sounds the thing I'm most looking forward today is having a shower, because finally after 4 days of waiting I have hot water again!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Our SU bar could be an awful lot better than it is. I think they get the mood wrong nearly all the time during the day. To be fair though, I'm comparing it to the SU bar in Limerick, which I'm sure I heard was the third highest grossing pub in Ireland.
I am looking forward to the Youth group. It's good experience, gives me something to do on Friday nights and gets me more involved at the church.
