You would think for 130 Kg that Vunipola could scrummage. However he has been smashed in both games.

Armitage played well yesterday and both second rows work rate was very impressive. Launchbury looked a real talent

Can anyone who hasn't predicted yet get them in by tomorrow morning at the latest

Tackling on Wade was dire, Armitage looks some player

They all played really well yesterday, was impressed at how well Vunipola played in the loose, was getting around the park a lot and sucks in defenders. Absolute beast of a man.

Launchbury is a really good player Mat, got into the first team last season in the backrow. With Shaw and Filipo he has got two brilliant players to learn from next season - just saw the two try saving tackles, impressive. He has a similar style to a young Simon Shaw. Was very impressed with Matthews in the second row too.

What do people think of Wade? I'm tempted to play a lot of them in my team during the WC, would I get marked down if I had say Launchbury, Wade and guys like Liam Gill in the team?

Does not matter how good a prop is in the loose its what he does in the tight. Vunipola is a trypical islander in that he is only interested in working when he has the ball.

does not hit enough rucks or do the basics well enough. Not sure if they will ever get him to do that. Serioulsy unimpressed with him in every game i have seen

Depends on who they're up against Chris. Launchbury/Wade are not even AP starters so they'll struggle in this league I'm guessing.

Bit different to looking good in the U20 WC than to playing against top draw opposition. You could have Wade up against Mitchell, Maitland or Rokocoko.....he'd get mullered!!!

A front 5 forwards 1st job is to set a platform his 2nd is to hit every contact as if he's life depends on it

hoping guy armitage gets some game time at 13 for irish this season, him and jj give us good options in the centre for the future

Launchbury is an AP starter for Wasps now, played last 6-8 games of last season. Wade's also seems to have pushed in front of Haughton now so both should get some bigger recognition.

I try and give them a few games every now and then, hopefully the WC will be a good time when top draw players arent around!

Thought Vunipola did pretty well with both of those Driver, the SA scrum had murdered the Scotish and Irish scrums and the breakdown - Vunipla smashed players back in the tackle area most of the game. Needs to work on his fitness but SArries probably is the best club for him to get onto the next level.

How do people rate Steven Myler on here? I think he's class act in the 10 jersey but i think he gets picked on in my backline should i continue with him or start ROG or Houghard

ROG in the wet

myler in decent conditions

he's steady but not the most creative 10

I think playing EFS or King outside him will suit him down to a tee as it makes up the creativity

EFS at 12 and king at 13 would be good

Myler is a good AP flyhalf, steady and not going to let you down. Came on a fair but last season. Have him around 4th or 5th for England behind Hodgson.

Think Sivi is injured....I prefer Maitland to Guildford but getting injured has knocked him back a bit. Gear has been pretty poor for most of the S15, I'd go:

Think that back 3 gives everything, esp under the high ball and counter attacking.

I think Smith will be the bench man covers everywhere in the outside backs but still has a lot of little mistakes in his game which could cost NZ dearly in the RWC. Doesn't seem to counter that well with the rest of his back 3 but by himself he's great!

I've been really impressed with him and the ability to cover 12-15 would be invaluable. Mils looks finished this S15 so prob between Smith and Dagg unless Henry picks Mils on sentiment.

Tri Nations is going to be huge this year, some major calls for Henry

Henry has said he'll give everyone game time. See them struggling with continuity a bit.

have a word with yourself pooly. Mils had a better super 15 than Conrad smith and a few other AB's Just played in a poor side.

LAst time people wrote him off was last year when he was injured. he was then the player of the autumn internationals and devestating in every game

He will start the WC guaranteed. No sentimentality. ben smith was playing Gloucester 2 a few years ago at 10.

I like smith but he is a club player. Jane will be cover as 3rd FB.

If Dagg does not recover SMith will go. The thing is players do not want to peak before the WC. lots of the conditioning will be for them to peak for the WC.

Thats probably why even people like Mccaw have been poor this 6n when they have played. Carter has been up and down although incredible last few weeks

Not seen Mils have a good 2 games in a row this year, he looks ready for Japan already!

Looking for a replacement tighthead prop, a replacement second rower, a openside flanker, a inside and outside centre and a full back.

mils will start for sure he is still a class act

i'd go guildford and gear.

wouldnt of minded Benjamin being in there, although I guess him being in the championship for a year hasnt helped.

Worsley is a pointless selection.

I don't think Benjamin would have ever made it, came a bit early although he's looked tasty. I'd like to see Sharples took as a bolter over JSD, just not convinced with him.

I like Sharples, possibly offers a bit more than Monye aswell. Tough call between him and JSD though.

Just watching the Under 20's game. SA commentators are dire.

I am gutted I didn't keep Launchbury in my academy when he was attatched to Quins. Kept Twomney and Matthews instead so still managed to get 2 out of 3 England Locks.

With regards to the Englamds squad i am quite pleased. Would rather have had Crane, Narraway or Fearns ahead of Waldrom.

Yeh Narraway can count himself unlucky, definitely wouldnt of had crane or fearns over waldrom though.

Think Waldrom ultimately is a backward step, as is Botha in some respect as it's not like they are young guys who are going to be around for the next decade. Would rather have seen homegrown talent in their place, but in terms of this game it's good for me, as I get to keep Kitchener and Narraway through the World Cup.

not sure if Botha will make the final squad. hopefully not could do with him for my squad during the WC!

Dont know how Botha is in ahead of Skivington. would be well hacked off I were him - not even considered good enough for the Saxons.

Some odd calls, e.g. why wasnt Waldroum picked in the Saxons first, not sure I agree with him playing anyway - same with Botha - neither would get into their national teams so why should they play for England. Bugs me.

Skivington has had a bad season. Switch to Leicester hasn't paid off this year

Steven, he had a bad first 2 months and then was excellent from then on. Thought he'd improved in every game. To not include him in the Saxons even is a kick in the teeth, especially when he picks Deacon whose hardly played in months!

Agree with Steve, Skivington had a poor year and if you were picking solely on form would be behind Botha who played consistently well all season for Saracens.
