I've been sleeping well lately. Cool overnight followed by perfect sunny days like today. I'm waking up now feeling properly recharged and with more energy to tackle whatever life throws at me - apart from Julius of course.

I have a question for you, Rick:

I went and got a flu shot yesterday. As the Doc went out into the store room to get the gear; I noticed my file on his computer screen... right in front of me.

Several months back I had gone in for a quick check up... no more than 10-15 minutes at most. He had "2hrs 45 mins" next to the date.

I'm thinking of getting a copy of my records (not from him) and looking into it further. Seems like some sort of overcharging rort is going on, yeah?

Possibly, do they charge by time over there? Also are you taking on either GDPR, or do you abide by FOI regulations.

Also bear, in mind that they may have set times which may be inclusive of admin, and be part of set and agreed templates within their professional governing bodies. For example, if I have a 15 minute consultation, there are usually much more than that wrapped around in research and admin.

Alas my knowledge of the antipodean medical practices is not what it should be.

I am looking forward to The Bluetones, but I think I only know a couple of songs, should be a laugh anyway.

It has developed even more since the Kings Cross Lockout Laws of 2014. Instead of lurking around there in the wee hours looking to mug someone; some of those unsavoury folks now go to Newtown instead. Some of the residents are not too happy with this but there is a real buzz about the place nonetheless... especially during the daytime with Syd Uni nearby.

Reminds me a little of Camden Town... a human zoo.  A few narky looking blokes. The odd indigenous beggar. (unlike Camden Town) but I did detect some pungent smells when walking across lane way intersections on King St. Rubber, oil and poo perhaps? A bit too much really. I picked up my walking pace as I headed back towards the station. Avoided any eye contact too.

Seemed to be lots of pale & demure women struggling with huge dogs on leads.
I'm pretty sure one (a giant poodle) was thinking of sniffing my crotch (which was as clean as a whistle) as I tried to walk by the throngs of Mums pushing prams talking on their phones... and not really looking where they were going. She just yanked it (the giant poodle) back to heel. Not even a smile.

Those bookstore(s) are still there. I walked past a few of them including the one next door to the Dendy Cinema. Around the corner are a few old churches and graveyards. One church yard seems to be a child day care centre now. A very neo-Gothic feel juxtaposed with coloured plastic outdoor playground fixtures. Life and death go hand-in-hand in Old Sydney Town...

The Bluetones are grand.

I hope so Flipper, I will no doubt enjoy the experience and will report back on Monday.

I've given up on weather here. Still 20-24°C during the day, should be 5-8°C at night... but still low teens. 'Winter' starts next week.

Yep, Cracking the flags means that it is very hot.

It is quite pleasant here to be fair. Short week for me also as off out to watch the new Han Solo film tomorrow, then off Friday for some Random anniversary that Mrs D has dreamt up... (we are not married and this was some first meeting b0ll0cksm but if it makes her happy...)
