Music Section Morning Tea Society
Soft thread split, hard thread split, no-deal thread split. Who gives a sh!t as long as we get a thread split by the 8:31 deadline.

I used to watch both way back when, although wouldn't say I was a big fan of either. Eden has definitely had some work done - she was in 'Dallas', and had had some done even back then.
You should put a cone of silence on your post so that only we can see it.

Yes a fair bit of work. Feldon's more subtle... she looked good. Sweet face... and quite a soft Pennsylvania accent.

Yes, that thread is above me.
I read something somewhere about Nadal being angry about his seeding... but he has that squeezed lemon look on his face win or lose. So it didn't concern me too much.
So who is No. 1 seed, Jules... Nadal or Djokovic?

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Wimbledon mens seedings are not arbitrary - they follow a mathematical formula based on current ranking and grass court results over the last 2 (I think) years. This was agreed many years ago with the ATP, to replace the Wimbledon seeding committee, which simply used their best judgement.

What fresh hell is this? What did you do to deserve that?
Was once presented with a vinyl version of Sleeper's first (and only?) album because I was the 150th person to walk into Fat Sam's in Dundee on a random Thursday night (or some reason like that). Ended up using it as a frisbee and flung it across the dance floor.

I drunkenly agreed to take a spare ticket, so it is costing me nowt.
Louise Wener is(was) hot though. And Reverend and the Makers are fun live.
Though bribing people to go into Fat Sams sounds about right.

Don't be a c*ntslice Galted. Every single person in Fat Sams that night would have deserved a partial decapitation by a rubbish (but with admittedly alluring female lead singer) Britpop band's LP.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Many thanks superfly I used your ladder insult on a colleague and got jumped and wrestled to the ground in which genuinely unintentional boob butt and fanny grabbing took place on my part. All the while she was laughing loudly and sitting on me. Shes the one with the teeth like a Legionnaires Scutum but is mighty fine in all other ways.
I had an inkling that she might fancy me but I didnt expect this wholly welcome sexual assault.

Eh-oh Galted.
I've learnt that rick learnt a new word today. Perhaps he'd like to share its meaning with the rest of the class.

Mr. Tumble for the win.
It means a word that spells a different word when reversed, like, famously "redrum"
you will also notice that this word spells palindromes backward, which led me to believe someone was taking the p155 so looked it up, and it appears to be true.

It appears not to be an 'official' word, in that it is yet to be included in dictionaries.

I believe so, rick. I didn't read too deeply into the posts but that was the general gist of it when I had a quick glance just before. It's all very distracting. I'm surprised at some of the 'conspiracy theories' being postulated. I don't believe any of it but it's food for thought I guess.
