Been a busy old week, looking forward to some R&R, internal recruitment next week which suuucks.

Just watched the women's cycling road race in Yorkshire... so many crashes. About 6 of them. Good viewing but would have been better if there were more barbed wire fences instead of the soft grass verges.

Not too bad cheers, nice chilled weekend, and short work week ahead, which is nice. The sun is shining as well, which helps getting over how shoite we are at football.

Looking like an equally depressing season for Villa so far.

Had quite a stressful walk to the station this morning. A couple joined the path just ahead of me, didn't feel like listening to their conversation so I put on a mighty burst of speed to get past them. They were walking more quickly than I thought though and I had to maintain an Olympic walking pace all the way to the station to keep ahead of them, now my groin and hamstring are hurting.

Any sign of the happy Cockney? That's how every morning walk to the station should be like.

Only seen him once the last couple of weeks. Said good morning to him and he dispensed with the greetings he was so eager to warn me to wear a waterproof jacket for the rest of the week.

The happy Cockney is generally fairly angry himself, I'm more inclined to call him the friendly Cockney.

The angry Kiwi probably has a theory about that as he is big on angry theories. He voted Leave but I'm not sure his views on climate change so will have to ask/provoke him on the subject.
