Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
She wasn't happy with her time. Did it in 1:50 which was 7 minutes off something that she referred to as her "goal time" and a few minutes off her PB. All part of training for Berlin marathon next month so guess it's a case of not peaking too soon.
Don't know much about Kilmalcolm, PJ, but its on the west coast of Scotland so I would lock up the valuables just to be safe.

Yeah I might also nail down the beds... and the barbecue. I hear you can get good dollar for them in Suva.

Great effort!
Not too bad here though have a bit of a niggly head cold which is never great but more an inconvenience than anything else to be honest.
Looking forward to the football season starting this weekend, but with some degree of trepidation.

Annoying to have a niggling head cold. Soldier on.
Yeah, it's all on again. Are you a Newcastle fan.. or I have confused you with someone else?

I am a big, brave boy so I will be fine.
I am indeed and I have no idea how this season is going to go but I don't feel the usual misguided optimism that I usually have at this time of the season.

Who cares about the League/Milk/Rumbelows/Coca-Cola/Egg Cup?
Had another telephone interview today with another company - quite hopeful, would be a good job to get.

Got a second interview for that one.
So I've got two 2nd interviews now. Hopefully I'll get offered one of them.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
The first company asked if I had anything else lined up - so they know I was having a first interview for the second job, but that's all.
The second company didn't ask. I'm flying up to their Glasgow head office next week for the face-to-face (it's a home-based role, not relocating). I doubt they'd ask me up there if they weren't seriously considering me.

Sounds promising, the fact that you got a second interview with company one knowing you were interviewing somewhere else is good also.

I get peace and quiet in the morning, to actually get stuff done.
Quite a nice day today in Bradders, though there is a food and drink festival this weekend which I was looking forward to, which I just remembered I double booked, so no I am playing football instead... Doh.

The home-based one is very much what I do now, but with some of the boring bits replaced by much more interesting stuff. So I'm very keen on that one.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
I think they make it seem that way but it is fairly simple, just a bunch of check boxes.
It is genuinely interesting as to what they think you are interested in.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Hi all.
I've requested my google data file via the link you posted, rick. I'm already getting these monthly reports... it doesn't miss anything. Tells you where you've been and even how many kilometres you've walked (obviously with your phone) and driven. Quite useful if you have the occasional memory lapse as I do... "oh that's right... I did go there!"

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
I am hearing reports from people getting some really strange stuff through.
I think there is a Reddit thread about it somewhere (obviously take them with a large pinch of salt!)
mine is fairly mundane though it does seem to think I like modern art and Japanese music.

Snowing in Canberra during the GWS-Hawthorn match.
Quite funny seeing them in shorts and singlets. Would have thought long sleeves would have been more appropriate attire.

That's exactly why, I now have people going through my bins at night...
Lamb gyros, with a pint, listening to live music, in a local park - 9.5/10 lost a .5 as the clunge was poor.

Completely bang average, today. I have a minor ear ache, just enough to annoy, not enough to do anything about it.
But polished off a particularly irritating set of negotiations, which is nice.
