Sicond again. I'm the CC Rangers to Rick's Celtic.
How are things up there on the edge of the map? Was quite chilly in London this morning but I believe there was no widespread panic or shutdowns.

Currently snowing, though crap snow that turns into slush, rather than good snow that you can throw snowballs with.

Fist. Hope that Dagless is working from home and, along with Julius, can't be arsed. The alternative is too painful to contemplate.

From the photos I've seen of people lying face down or on their backs it reminds me a lot of Kilburn High Road in the late 90s.

Sicond - slightly disappointing as I was hoping to be fisting a michaels.
Haggis is lovely stuff - it's essentially a fat peppery sausage whilst also managing to be a brother to both the black and white pudding.

Excruciatingly hot. Not much worth doing outside when it is 44 but feels like 49!
Thank goodness we had a big thunderstorm last night... and there's another one coming just now.
How was yours? Did you get up to anything special?

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
That is indeed way too hot!
Not really, Mrs Dagless was at Euro Disney with some friends, so I had the place to myself so I went crazy and didn't wash up immediately, and went bed slightly later.
Barring that, not much. One of my colleagues here is hungover from coffee overdose, this is a new one on me, and I am finding it hilarious.

"Didn't wash up immediately.." lol.
It was too hot to wash up for me as well . I just quickly rinsed things... filled used glasses up with 'cool' (the pipes were hot) water and just let it all sit there for a while. Made things easier later on when I had some energy.

I much prefer being too cold rather than too hot, you can warm up but cannot cool down.
I missed the superb owl this year as well, I am not a huge American Football fan, but generally enjoy the occasion.

Ah good... 4 or 5 days of continuous rain predicted now. So I guess there'll be some unfortunates who end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Feel for the lizards and other ground based animals as well... complete hell for the poor little buggers.
Agree... so long as your vital parts don't fall off. Almost impossible to sleep when it's 35 at 3am still. Even with aircon blasting away.
Watched some of the Superbowl. I like both teams... glad to see the Chiefs win it rather than a 5th or 6th? one for the 49ers.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Flood rain. All the "big wet" from the north is getting dragged down here and mixes with the air off the Tasman.
Did you see the end of the 7s rugby? Like that. Lots of thunder, lightning, flash flooding and the usual hail damage.
Most of it along the coast, east of the divide. They might get some inland but it's so bone dry. It just causes uncontrolled water run off before evaporating again. Some of our rivers are just about dead. Dams at 3% or less in some places. There's talk about some rivers never flowing properly again.

it seems a right barrel of laughs over there at the moment, you have enough issues with all the flora and fauna trying to kill you without acts of god...
I guess you can blame "The Gays" or something, I see people doing that already.

You know rick... I heard some news about a locust plague in Somalia. Then the Coronavirus...
What are the other wraths of God again? Seems as if we're getting it all at once. You'll probably get another beast from the east too, no?
Do you know when Izzy is playing the Gay Pride Super League match? Is that this weekend? Should be a laugh! Will definitely record it.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Here we go... to summarise: (in no particular order)
Curse upon Adam and Eve and Steve... done.
Curse upon Michael Caine... maybe someone (Harvey Weinstein) has dirt on him?
The Great Flood... coming soon to your living room.
Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah... sounds very painful indeed
Destruction of Er and Onan... Errrr OK. Yes Boss... whatever you say Boss!
Plagues of Egypt (or Somalia)... already happening.
Divine Threatenings at Mt Sinai... where ISIS brought that Russian jet down a few years ago.
Plagues at the incident of the Golden Calf... avoid Halal meats. Bad hygiene = Coronavirus.
Nadab and Abihu are burned... Wouldn't surprise. Told them not to play with fire.
Curses upon the disobedient. Just ask Izzy.
A plague accompanies the giving of manna in the wilderness... Don't throw manna from the train!
The rebellion of Korah, Dathan and Abiram – their supernatural deaths and the plague that followed... Told you so!
Reprimand of Moses at the Water of Meribah... so he illegally waters his lawn. Naughty boy!
Murmuring of the people and the plague of fiery serpents... there's already murmuring in abundance. Snakes: see The Great Flood above.
Whoredom with the Moabites and resulting plague... now you're talking! Anybody seen Sean?
Curses pronounced upon the disobedient... we've already had that one. I'm not deaf. Or blind. Or mute. Yet.

Sicond. Today is a wfh day so hoping that the weather and I don't have to mix, though the sliver of it I can see between our block of flats and the one facing us doesn't look too unpleasant.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
It is a weird US electoral thing where people rock up to a place and stand in designated areas to show their preference for delegate of choice.
If there is less than 15% of attendees in the designated area then that candidate is not progressed and the people who did stand there can go somewhere else.
Then people use biscuits to tempt them into other candidates areas...
