Just had an article about him in the local rag as he's been done for shoplifting.
The FB page is going off, and it is ace...
Eleven bottles of wine and a sandwich apparently. On multiple occasions too. 2 bottles initially, then 2 more, then another 4... then the final 3.
That's the one, peej, lovely stuff.
I'm probably going against the grain here but I sort of feel sorry for the guy in a way. Must be stressed out, struggling with work... needs to unwind after his shift. Did it the first time and then thought that was pretty easy... might go back again tomorrow for a top up. Quite sad really but still a crime which deserves at least 14 years transportation to the colony.

If the wine was 19 crimes I would appreciate the irony.
no one would be that arsed to be fair, but he is always "that guy" when it comes to complaining about residents, the bar and the staff, so it is quite amusing.

Yeah. Can imagine him feeling irritated with the dogs barking... the faint aroma of herbal smoke in the corridors (but like an Amsterdam Smoke Haus inside)... and everyone else obviously enjoying themselves.
Cops here are having a hard time too. Someone punched a horse on the nose the other day during a protest. I'd tie the perpetrator to the stable doors... then give the horse a gentle prod. See what happens. There's some film (think it's one of those John Wick ones) where he uses a horse tied up in the stables to kick some crim into next week. I had to replay it a few times. Hilarious.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Dogs are not allowed to live here for obvious reasons, occasionally folk come to the bar, which is public, for a drink mainly during the day as the complex is gated, with a dog, and he went off on one.
As for the smoke, I have lived here a while and not come across it myself, and no one else has complained.
And he worked in fraud, wasn't the thin blue line dealing with the local crackheads.
I agree with you on the horse punching bell end.

My parents would make for a great interview. Would be my mum complaining about how useless my dad is and snapping at him to stop talking nonsense every time he tried to say something. Our Skype calls are the stuff of legend.

On a completely different note - that golf thread really is toxic. I am a firm believer that stress related issues are things that people have either experienced or not experienced yet. I don't know how some of these people can come out with the crap they do unless they just never actually click that there is a reason for their excessive drinking and wife beating.

Super_Insecure has never been anything more than a WUM. He is a caricature of himself and his wonderful life. This is guy who "left" the forum to "see if he could do it". What a pr*ck. He is pretty much nothing without the attention.
I don't know much about Mac but he normally seems ok, so probably just on the wind up for a bit of sport.
At least it is distracting from the whole fury of Duty joining us. Knew that would blow over eventually.

Duty - and I'm fairly confident he won't read this, as he doesn't drop by this thread just to check if his name has been mentioned - has never been a tw@t. I just disagree with most of his world view, that's all.

Duty actually saw one of my posts earlier because it was incorporated via quote into the lesser super's post. It was a good job that I was agreeing with Duty and he might finally realise what a valued and insightful member of this forum I am and 'unfoe' me.
I don't think the lesser super can be classed as a WUM, he's far too easy to wind up.

I'm looking forward to the track cycling. Actually just pumped up the tyres and put some oil on the (bike) chain. Going for a ride on Saturday morning to compensate for lounging around too much of late. We've now been restricted to 5km from home for exercise. Olympic Park is only 3.8km from here so I'm lucky in that respect. Need to get moving again and be a little more active.

You've obviously missed a few, Tino. They've had quite a few wins (upsetting the American all-time champ twice) and a world record as well.
All in know about IS-C is he seems a good bloke and obviously peaked at the right time. He was very humble (when speaking to the press just afterwards) and he timed his finish to perfection. Just like our girl Ariarne Titmus... a good name as well. She did it twice.
Interesting combination of names I agree. Does that mean there has been a surname 'Stubblety' for many generations or did someone make a spelling mistake when filling out a birth certificate and it has stuck ever since?
Some steam building up on the golf thread again. Just wondering what's the best angle to approach Super's 'lifeboat' post. It's a very sad scenario with desperate folks risking it all to try and come across the Channel. Can't understand how some people are so heartless to call it a taxi service.
