Common house spiders. We've had a lot of rain lately so they're obviously looking for a warm dry refuge.
Have to feel a bit sorry for our spider living in the UK if warmth and dryness is what they like.
Make a little cotton wool nest for it and take it up to Tino's. Pretty sure he'll have some space in the shed for it.
In amongst the thimble collection.

Considered popping on to the tennis board yesterday to say what a sh*te boring sport it is but I lack the necessary bottle, which is probably quite fortunate as that's probably more dangerous than asking where I can get a bit of bum fun at an ISIS rally.

In my experience, it is usually the 3rd guy to the left, 6th row back on the march. He'll have a jihadi flag hanging out of his back left trouser pocket.

I had it on but didn't really pay enough attention. I have however been watching Bulgasal and have generally enjoyed it very much, as a kind of Korean take on 'Angel'.
They do overact by our standards and the sentimental stuff can really grate, but some of the Korean stuff is really good. I will admit I couldn't get past the first 5 minutes of Squid Games but in contrast really enjoyed Uncanny Counter and My Name.

I gave up after episode 2 of Squid Games. I've only watched the first episode of this new one. I'm pretty sure I'll make it past episode 2 though.

Yes, Yellowjackets is great. I think I'm up to episode 8. Really enjoying it.
Just started American Rust as well although only a couple of episodes in. Jeff Daniels is always a good watch but I'm not blown away by it yet. Will keep going with it though.

Like the way that Yellowjackets started up as a standard teen drama and descended into chaos including a close up of a compound leg fracture, limbs being hacked off and an attempt at a home made abortion. I've got one episode to go.
Will have a look at American Rust - premise looks interesting.

I especially liked the footwear bit. Very relevant for you, Galted. Your rugged and practical footwear wouldn't look out of place in the North, but the quinoa flatbread you'd be holding would likely land you in a spot of bother.

The piece was quite cleverly done, it purports to take the p*ss out of men of the north but really lambasts southerners instead.
My eating habits are less deserving of violence now that I work from home all the time, normally a pack of two minute noodles for lunch which is probably still quite exotic for the north but could be mistaken for porridge.

Don't start this, LiW. We had a debate about this a few years back that went on for days. Nearly killed a lot of us. Union Cane (Grimsby) was so shaken up by it, he left the Society and has still never returned. These are wounds that take a long time to heal.
Manchester is most definitely in the North. My own view on this is look at the f*cking road signs on the M6. It literally (correct use) tells you where the North West is. And that is before the signs for Manchester start. The M6 can't be wrong.

Spot on.
Stoke is the cut off point. And ironically, Stoke should be cut off from civilisation. They have the worst of all the Southern traits, yet pretend they are Northern.
Could be a good time to remind you of the strip club I went to in Stoke though. Still waiting to see where that bottle of Champagne ended up.

I once inadvertently attended a strip show in a pub in King's Cross which was so repulsive I sat with my back to the action. She had the cheek to wave a tankard in my face afterwards expecting a tip (non-euphemistically).

The thing is that if you include the barely civilised bit at the top of the mainland and look for the middle it isn't far from Manchester.
