Don't have much face to face contact with old people apart from one old chap I chat to when he's walking his dog, frightening to think of the potential power you hold.  Or if you've got fat friends, would be a good laugh coughing in their faces and watching them fall off their sofas with their trotters kicking at the air.

Some of super_insecure's best friends are fat.

As are the majority of englands womens cricket team

As we used to say in Runcorn, you'd have to throw a bag of flour on them to find the wet patch.

Tird - very much.

Too much work plus news that Putin may be looking to double down on his current position is kind of distracting.

Was going to save this for a michaelsing emergency but I'm so excited I just can't keep it a secret - went to Bekonscot miniature village and railway yesterday, good fun if you want to feel like Godzilla for an hour and a half or so.  Would take your own food though, their chips are a bit sh*t.

yes mate Std fare, though today I am WFH, managed to plan offline work so as not to get distracted when the racing is on.

As for bets, probably about a tenner up over two days, not sure if that is astute or not.

Unfashionably early post for me.

This will either make the thread as dead as I am or it will be a classic day with SerialDAVE and Union Cane both returning.

I've given up on Rowley (pronounced Rowley).

I wonder if Rowley is Hibbz!, that would allow him the occasional return without being seen to perform an action which is beneath him.

I've raised the same thought myself on here. Was shot down by superfly who claimed that Hibbz couldn't be Jeff as he was too funny. He has a point but I wouldn't rule it out.

Hibbz is maybe jeff after a few pints. I reckon Union was sectioned by his wife under the Mental Health Act because she found his workings for the reverse lineal heavyweight championship.

I see Galted's balls have made an appearance on the cricket thread as a response to some frankly piss poor trolling from Truss (he should have used his Lescargo alias if he wanted any respect on there).

He must miss his NASCAR. That was a good quip from Duty I think it was.
Actually no. He's from NE isn't he? Massachusetts. NASCAR is only big under the Mason Dickson line. So he probably hates that too.

Watched some of the cricket this morning here. It was OK. Good to see Joe get his ton.
Some very nice shots of the beaches and island hot spots... and those sexy dancing women wearing next to nothing. Whoaah! That woke me up.

I think he has some kind of connection to the place but fairly certain he isn't from the USofA. The lady doth protest too much.

I'm actually heading to Barbados in August, Pee Jay. Haven't been away for 3 years now for obvious reasons so proper jazzed up about going. No cricket to watch but lots of rum to drink and books to read. That will do me.

We had a spate of employees at the Co-op who spoke with fake American accents.  They've either left or forgotten that they were American.  If I find one I'll ask them if they are Truss, or know him.

That should be great. I need a break too. Just got to find somewhere remote enough to avoid militant terrorists and miss any of the nuclear fallout.

I think Duty has a connection to the West Indies... maybe his Mum? Anyway, he'll probably tell me I'm dreaming but I do remember him saying something about it once.

His mum shot someone who'd come over on the Windrush.

Yes, I should clarify that we are only going should we not all be vaporised by then.

I didn't realise that. I'll be sure to ask someone there if they know Duty or his mum.

I'm not Peter Bowles.
If no-one hears from Hibbz again and Rowley (not Rowley) disappears from Tw*tter, it will be safe to say they were both Peter Bowles.

Very good, yes, my mother lives in the West Indies. She doesn't care for cricket, though.

I thought it was certain that you were Peter Bowles. Such a close fit and to the manor born.

Does she live in Barbados? Does she fancy meeting up for a rum and maybe a swim? First two weeks in August.

I think she'll find me a very pleasant person to be around.

Does she like reggae? Or Jamaica?

Ah - Dreadlock Holiday. I wish I'd thought of that three minutes before you did.

Not enough rum in the world.

Don't be so rude about Duty's ma. She might be lovely.
