I'm getting tired of all this nuclear phobia nonsense. A little extra daily dose of radiation should be embraced; not feared. But like most things, only in moderation of course. I don't see what all the fuss is about.

I mean, you don't really want your knob glowing too brightly, do you Galts? Friday Fist. Almost made it through another week.

Had a big work thing yesterday where the company leadership was talking about how it was going to spend a few hundred million pounds over the next couple of years whilst hoping to start generating some income and more investment.

Ordered a new battery charger yesterday, has a progress display and can charge them individually instead of in pairs.  Expected to arrive today so my disillusionment should be a thing of the past by this evening.

The item I bought is a device for recharging AA or AAA batteries (or dry cells).  To recharge one's batteries is a phrase referring to a person resting to recuperate mentally or physically.  Thus, after due consideration, I can confirm that the joke works.

Four batteries done so far, four more on the go, one of which is nearly finished.

Currently being temporarily redeployed pending arrival of my software, whenever that might be. Being really honest its the kind of thing that should have been in place long before I joined, because I suspect there are many things that have been designed already that could have used my area of expertise.

Very happy to be part of the company and excited for the future, just frustrated I can't yet do the job I was hired to do.
