First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be? appletini

Munsty - I'm really looking forward to the Eng v SA match too, should be a great contest.

Early penalty awarded to England, good kick by the young 18yr old Ford. 3-0

Willie Lose the commentator having real trouble with Kvesic's name.

Interesting to see how Taute does at full back given he's only been in Italy for a few days. Has got class and should be confident given his form in the Super Rugby.

The Boks have stepped up a gear now. English defence looking pretty good though. We seem a bit more competitive at the breakdown today. Kvesic is playing well at openside.

And SA score, easy try for them from a ball straight off a line out. Good finish by the 6.

John - you're right, they've definitely stepped it up in the last few minutes.

8-5 now the score. England still in the lead.

Have you ever know of an Austraian side that is not good?? The last French score from their 15 was amazing. Presently the French have the upper hand but never disrespect the Aussies, anyway 24 -6 to france now.

It didn't show much of the highlights, just the tries and the one high shot (which was funny given the story of bestman and groom). The last try in the S.O.O. was decent and the Exiles looked like they were quite sharp in the other game. I was impressed with Joel Tomkins' pace to finish his try off.

Don't you have to get something first though? You seem to have been set off by the observation that Argentina u20s have a decent defence and were doing a better job of the Welsh at countering the Baby Blacks. Now I don't want to say you're over-sensitive, but...

That's why I found it quite amusing to poke you with a stick back then. That was a bit of badness, I'll admit. After all, you did start throwing personal insults around with no apparent reason. If you're going to be randomly insulted with a stranger you may as well get some fun out of the situation Rolling Eyes

FYI, I've just finished my undergraduate degree in Music Technology an am going to do an MA in Sonic Arts (focusing on Composition and Performance w/Guitar and Computer). I'll wager it's quite different to the students you teach.

Players who have impressed me?
Well Conway really has. Goosen of SA. ALL the BB's. Doussain and JP Barraque of France.

I am really not at your knowledge-level on young players. You probably know them all. Personally. Your World rugby knowledge is a thing of wonder. At all levels. Ale
