Devastating. Although I do get my partnership...
Scrum Half -
Larkhams half back partner in crime and most capped Ozzie. George Gregan.
Openside -
No explanation needed. Neil Back.

Everyone is a top player in your eyes banafan, thought you was going bed
Luke and pullthestrings are the only one's needed now, while prop has two locks to pick.
Doesn't look anymore will be done tonight, so roll on tomorrow hopefully, think we have done pretty well today/tonight.
Quality lads well done.

Hon - I picked Lol for flanker.. I guess that's where it becomes ambigious. Lol was primarily an 8 so if Bear requires me to pick another I will do.

Oh man, I was going to pick my full back last night and am so glad I didn't, as I had completely forgotten one of the greatest players to ever grace a rugby field...
My selection for fullback is...
15. 3 times Grand Slam winner and British and Irish Lion J.P.R. Williams

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
oh rudey poo - yeah I see now. That is a tough call as you can pick someone like Elsom who can play flanker, lock & number 8 . . . I do believe someone said earlier that it was the position they were most recognised for . . .
mind you your pick is after mine anyway - sorry buddy but I got in there before you
-------
hold on I see what you mean - the pick for flanker has come up for you before my pick for number 8!! I get it sorry!
ok lets see what bear says on that one . . .

yeah! I see what you mean . . . it's a bit ambiguous that one - as I assume you won't be playing Dallagilo at flanker in your team

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
That was edited after Bear had advertised the game as 1980 to present.
1990 to present was then touted and then changed back to 1980 to present.
Bottom line, without wanting to sound sulky about it is that if it was 1990-now then I would not be interested as the interest for me is in selecting greats from the amateur era.

Right OK, Bear's been known to change his mind more often than his knickers.
I understand having 80's players in a legends game but it's difficult to compare amateur players with players from the professional era - the game is completly different.

I don't disagree pull, and those of us who are picking early 80's players understand that we are taking the risk that our players won't be known by all or not rated as highly. All part of the fun.

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
I think it is my turn for both locks, and these selections will probably come as no surprise to those who have played the Fantasy Aviva Premiership game with me and know that I like established real life pairings in my team.
So, at 4 and 5, I am going for legendary All Black second row duo
4. Robin Brooke
5. Ian Jones.
