The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Hear Hear. That was the meet that kicked it all off. Penfro,Cari and Kia in de Diff after. Kias' scrumpy-cider set the tone for that game. I remember Portnoy lost his tickets when ye lot went in. We were saying a prayer over an inscribed-stone, laid down for his fav Uncle, who had not long shed his mortal coil. Tears were shed. It was a lovely moment. I also got to meet Tigers Amanda from the Ticket orafice. Gorgeous. Life eh?

And we thought you missed the kick off because you at the bar Gibbo
Leicester was grand, and so was Portnoy, even if he can come across as a cantankerous old sod on here sometimes. He was a gent that day, and Niamh still has the shirt to prove it.

Is everyone in here all well - I haven't been around for a few weeks. I spent last week proof-reading a friend's FuD thesis. It has done my head in and I'm not quite finished yet, so haven't even been lurking.
I presume Cari enjoyed her w/e in Dublin.

Wasn't on that one. I was delayed overseas and made it back to Cardiff the following day. The try was from another one.
I don't need telling that people want to meet me, as it's a given. I am awesome and have more stories than Uncle Albert
Anyway, I'm back in the UK. Just got to stay up now writing reports. Good job I'm jetlagged probably.
Stag, does your brother dislike Dragons as much as you?

Unfortunately the most I can commit to is one of these
I sometimes read on with a little bit of envy when you guys talk about meet-ups at the HC final or whatever, they sound like a great laugh. The thought of enjoying some great rugby (especially this year!) with some like-minded people and a few beers sounds quality. Thinking about the Heineken Cup final in Twickers this year, maybe I'll see some of you there!
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Robbo, my bad too, altho I should've simply said 'and everyone else that I've not had te chane to meet yet' instead of trying o remember and be smart about it : doh: ah well, perhaps we can persuade you to hop on the train up to the big smoke for the London meet at the end of Sept?

I'd forgotten that it had a young Courtney Cox in as well. Very cheesy film but a great way to chill out at the end of the day yesterday.

I stayed up reading too late again, super sleepy. Meeting up with one of my best mates for food and a couple of drinks after work though, so that shall keep me going through the day I hope.

Kia ora, mauri ora all.
Went to bed early last night (a) to try and knock this cold on the head (partially successful) and (b) because my laptop screen is on the blink so home interweb is limited to mobile phone only
Lovely warm day in London towne, it's going to be humid on the netball court later.
