The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Sligo's game is far bigger as they have a realistic chance of going through. Don't forget either that tomorrow night at the X in a top of the table clash
Shelbourne take on Cork City.

Sure its a bus up, a few pints and a match ticket (I can take care of that), back down to Cork.
Easy as.
BTW is a taxi to Cork airport expense from the city.

It's only a 15 minute drive from Patricks Street, so its not that pricey

It was a combination of multiple factors. The main topic of the thread had pretty much gotten mired up with people all but agreeing with each other, and then taking offence at the tone of the agreement.
"We're quite patriotic and feel moderately optimistic about our country's chances. How dare you feel the same about yours". Repeated in counterpoint ad nauseum.

I was trying (and obviously failing in some peoples eyes) to 'humourously' claim 'credit' for it, after Thomond had dared me to post something I had written in the pub, 'outside'
I think it wasn't just the Grey Ghost that got it locked was it now ?

Yeah Irish people are the only country to come out of this with their well behaved reputation intact.

You know what. Today gave us a taste of what the RWC and regular season will be like. I think we'll need subsections

Typical double standards! Would you care to elaborate why you feel the Irish are incapable of coming out of this without their well behaved reputation intact??.....

No 'offence' was ever taken. The big problem with just writing (without emoticons) is one can't pick up the 'way' something is meant to come overnottins wrote: you might take offence otherwise.
EG - this pub is far too hiberno-centric and full off turnip-munching culchies who think da Orish are da dogs bollix

You're just all really nice people rodders. Especially Stag. I think he's the only one on here who's never had a bad word to say about the Dragons too.
More Richard Parks news. He is releasing a book. That will be a great read. Finally the Fail is good for something

Of course not. I never have anything at all to say about the Dragons. You misunderstand me. Its not I hate them. Its just when I see them playing I think every time "Oh THEM. Forgot about them. Thought they were disbanded years ago".

Hughie, the best thing to do is to eat bits of the chicken as you go along, and when you stop being violently sick, you'll know it's cooked.
