First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Lionel Nallet photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I really don't know why the players do those Half time interviews. I would be telling them to urine off!

Agree Lucky. 1st score in 2nd half is vital. The AB's will come out like Demons possessed. Oz must just carry on playing the way they are.

Starting for the 1sts today. Obviously did alright on Thursday. Buzzing. Got to strap my ankle right up mind.

Well done Australia. Can't wait to watch it back properly later. Saw Samo's try like. Good stuff.

15 missed tackles, that would be pretty bad for any team any age but the All Blacks!

I missed that. Why the flip do they need to talk to a player at half time ? Let them get their half time cup of tea and slice of orange.

So McCaw got a knock early but looks OK, Thompson and Read's injuries look more serious.

1st Half Stats (Oz/AB)

Rucks & Mauls 48/38
Ad line % gain 64/54
7+ phases 2/3
Linebreaks 5/1
Missed tackles 5/15
Turnovers 11/9
H/Errors 6/8

Wallabies need to maintain the rage. ABs will try to come back strongly no doubt.

Rev, have you got your season ticket yet? The last of my payments has gone out of my account so I went down to the ticket office this morning and they said they can't print them off yet because they're waiting to move to 'the new building.' (?) The bloke said it would be ready before the first home game of the season, but I'm a bit miffed that I can't say I'm a season ticket holder yet even though I've paid for it!

In its own way that was a perfect try. Patient, patient play, no panicking, work your way upfield and spread it when the time comes. Excellent.
