The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the David Pocock photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I think thats a good one Prop. Their likely opposition:
Pool Stage - 2nd place
Quarters - England
Semis - South Africa
Final - New Zealand
VICTORY!! I think they really have the team to do it

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Guys, it is my boys birthday today, 8 years old on the 8th of September.
He was very excited when he woke this morning with the theory that he must get 8 present today.
So we got him a guitar, this big lego helicopter, a trick bicycle and some clothes.
Tonight he asked if we can go have sushi for dinner.
Happy birthday my boy.

Lego is a great gift. Lego and books were ALWAYS staple ingredients of any birthday/christmas presents in my house. Used hate getting clothes as presents when I was a nipper.
Still though top presents - your some Dad!!

He loves lego's, since very young we encouraged him to play with lego's, these days it is difficult to find something to challenge him with.
My wife gets upset all the time, because he loves building space ship or aero planes with any kitchen utensils, foil etc.

My middle sister (and my brother-in-law, of course) went to South Africa on honeymoon a few years ago and she brought back some biltong for me - it was delicious. A few months ago I bought some biltong from Tescos and it was bland as anything.

If you buy biltong that is bland, get some BBQ spice and throw it in a bag, shake well, do not stir, and Bob's your uncle.

As, I see from this morning's paper Exeter have donated a load of rugby balls to the gorilla house at the local zoo. Laudable charity, though if any of the gorillas wind up playing for England GG may explode

We did get him some, but the problem is it is mainly made of plastic these days (the stuff in SA anyway), I remember when I was a boy the stuff was still all metal.
He enjoys the meccano as well, but it is limited because of the scarcity here in SA. Lego is still very popular and you can get it almost anywhere.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Wouldn't have though so Mick. He's only 23 and he's signing on a short term basis. Did well in 2010 but spent a lot of 2011 on the bench. I think we could be signing a player eager to prove a lot to himself and other clubs.
I had read that he was released by the Queenslad Reds and was likely to head back to Rugby League. However he decided to come North for a few months instead.

Try this site Not cheap as I said earlier though. I've got a 70's set 10 that I bought in 2001 for £1200.

I would say Barnes. They guy is apparently a 13. I personally think 13 is where we lacked options anyway. I suspect we will try him out at 12 as well though. Might as well. If he covers both he could earn himself a permanent place.

The changing of the mail is the easy part. but trying to set up all of your logins on all the sites you use is the pain.
There’s a “mail import” function on gmail that’s handy but you have to import the mails everyday, it doesn’t automatically pull your hotmail into gmail (which would be ideal).
I tried to set up a gmail account to replace my hotmail but found it far too much hassle.

Thats a burn. I may do it nonetheless. My hotmail account has been hacked twice. I don't have faith it is security. Also Gmail syncs in with all the apps on my phone and pc which is handy. I just have to think of all the logins of sites I have registered to
Up the WALLS at work but its all email based mainly so I can still 606 away. I have the Ireland Grand Slam DVD playing here too. Nice buzz!

It's easy to get a new email address. I think most providers allow you set up filters to forward to another address.
Otherwise you would have to contact all your contacts of your new email address and change it in all the online places that you use.

The problem is that no matter how many sites you think you’ve registered your address with, there’s probably 5 times that number you need to change.
My hotmail was hacked once too, I just updated the password to include caps and lower case, numbers and special characters. Haven’t had a problem since.

Surely telling all your contacts that you've got a new email address would be easy? Just one email to all your current contacts giving them your new address.

I agree that would take a while, Nottins. And it's true there are some you'd forget.
My first email address was a Hotmail address and it was fine inititally until I started getting half-a-dozen spam email every time I logged in. Now I've got four different email addresses, including a Live one which is fine.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I'd just do it gradually - switch over to using a new one but retain the old one for things registered at the addo, and slowly port over as you need to.
I've got hotmail, yahoo and gmail addresses that I've acquired over the years, I use the gmail one for most personal contacts, and the other 2 mainly for on-line comps etc where you have to register via email.
Edit, I see Lucky has posted almost the same thing. I'm too slow again!
