The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Beast, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Is this the same team that ran Ireland close in the 07 WC?

The headmaster of Teilo Sant primary school has delayed registration this morning so that fathers can watch this match with their sons before taking them to school. Makes you proud

Here's hoping Wales wake up soon. Jenkins not up to match fitness-however much I rate him he is struggling in the scrums and lucky that Walsh seems to prefer him!!

Prop - it's their composure I'm worried about. Giving away penalties like sweeties.

At least we're not happy with performances like this anymore in comparison to a few years ago when we were happy with below par performances.

True. I just don't want them to give away points having done the hard bit (getting the tries) with silly penalties....and they did just there again. They get possession and territory....and give it away! very frustrating.

Really don't like the way Byrne leads with his studs showing when jumping, he could seriously injure someone one day.

These blinking jerseys with the inverted 't' on the chest! Whenever I see them head on, I imagine what they would look like on a woman.

Glas - they're like the Irish disco shirts with the shiny panels on their pecks. Look great on the players, but on me or anyone else...

Ish Rava. Our defence has been very good, Halfpenny, Warbs and Jon Davies are having good games. My only gripe is the silly penalties Wales are making which are undoing all the effort when they're in a good position to score. The Namibians have been very good at pushing us back and forcing some errors as well, so we need to watch that.

I just read there that they are playing well but as individuals looking to impress rather than as a team. I only saw a wee bit at the end of the first half so can't comment.

Yes Rava I am. No game flows one way for 80 minutes. Namibia are stopping us but doing nothing themselves. Walsh is (naturally) giving them the 50-50s. Ah sure it will be just fine.

Rava: so-so, something to remember is that s.a were only 31-0 up at half time. Think Warburton needs to be wrapped up now!
Just need to keep the ball in the backs because Namibia are matching at the breakdown. And support runners!!!!

That was better. Good support from the players and Williams gets over for the bonus point try. Great introduction to world cup rugby for him.

81 - 7 ater a try from AWJ. Very exciting end to the match. I think Du Plesis was the MOTM.

I'm assuming he was Mickado cause the camera was lingering on him and his team mates were congratulating him, but the commentator didnt say anything and his glory was ruined by Wales scoring a try

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I literally didn’t see 1 second of the game.
But I would find it very hard to believe that the best player on the pitch was on the team that just conceded 81 points.
