First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Beast, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence Wink

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Just read there that Namibia missed 43 tackles and made 80, which is exactly the same as they did against the Boks. They're consistent if nothing else...

Seems like the second half was a closer affair!

Well done Wales.

And, since I was out during the game and didn't "see" you after, well done the Os yesterday!

You had another fanastic sporting weekend Cari!

Kiwi, just a comment. Far too many ugly mugs up on the wall. We need to get some pics of Sam Fox and Linda Lusardi up there.

Mickado - now that is consistent. Odd. At times they looked like they didn't even bother attempting to tackle to be honest.

MrsP - yeah good weekend. Really needed it to be honest. Commiserations for the result yesterday. Smile

Off to potter about around the house now....

If Bristol City had won i'd have been happy: Glos win, Lydney win, Sarries beat Aberbargoed, Wales win, Leeds Rhinos win, Chelsea win.

Is that a pint of tea or just a bit of tea in the bottom of a pint glass?

If it's one of those glasses with no handle you will either burn your hands or have to drink cold tea!

Just have cuppa cuppa cuppa

Morning all,

Good win for Wales this morning, wouldnt read to much into it though, just like with Ireland yesterday. Results like that will just give a confidence boost to the squad nothing more. You don't win World Cups by putting scores on the minnos, need to do it when it counts against the big boys in the QF SF and Final. But my god its set up for a whopper knock out tournament!!

True that Hughie, they almost feel like a no win situation. Hammer them and people talk about how you could have put more points up, white line fever or whatever, if it's close then the world seems to be falling down. Wales, Ireland and England done exactly what they needed in their games this weekend, win well, secure the BP, try not to get injured. It's game on now...

Sounds like Sat Nav Swanny...places aren't recognised. Perhaps they spell it differently on their database, sometimes that makes searching difficult.

I've no idea what to go for on Sportsguru with that one....I'll leave it until the last minute to make my prediction there. I hope that the boys won't be harbouring any concerns about 2007, and will go hell for leather to win it. Might as well cause the only way is up for them if they do!

We cant rely on South Africa doing the business for us they will more than likely rest their key players.
It's a must win game for us and I think we now have the right mindset not to dwell on past events.

This. Just this.

Looks like I missed the more exciting half of the rugby, really chuffed for Scott Williams getting so many tries on his debut, and Lloyd Williams getting one too. Can't wait to watch it all now after work.

Just double checked my welsh course which I was convinced was starting today but it isn't, it start tomorrow thank goodness! Had a rubbish night's sleep and didn't fancy going to a class tonight at all.

Lucky Hug

1. You will comfortably beat Figi based on Your/their performances.
2. SA will comfortably beat Samoa based on their respective performances.

Aftenoon all.

caught the first 25 minutes of the Wales game this morning. Nam struggled to get any concrete set of phases going.

when they did get going their 1st and 2nd phases looked exciting enough but just didn't have the experience, energy, or tehnique to get it going more.

I think they did get a bum deal with 4 games in 14 days. I think the RFU need to do a bit more in the next few years to help teams like these progress onto the next level.

Hope I find you all well.
