First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Beast, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence Wink

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Ah Dreamer, the Patagonian Welsh. It is an amazing story. An enclave, built on a dream by a Welsh Nationalist.

oh sad news about the one miner MrsP, thank goodness they were able to rescue one though.

and no worries I knew who you were laughing at!

I have never managed to remember/learn them properly and I still couldn't manage it today! It doesn't half confuse me Headscratch

Manure have fallen apart a bit (Man Utd). Gone from 2-0 up to 2-2. Man City are 2-0 down.

My course is hard work. Doing a lot of running in my boots, so my legs know about it. Carrying a 20kg Bergen ain't fun either.

All the best to the two miners. Ah sheet. One didn't get out?

Hope all is well for everyone in yer.

Fulltime obviously (even Sir Alex couldn't wrangle this much injury time). Both sides had chances to win that right at the death.

I am sweating a bit about getting back to Rodney Parade on Friday. I might have to go in my uniform just to save time <yikes>

Motorcycle Emptiness has just come on in the pub. Great song. Loves it.

This Tevez thing has really kicked off. Lot of abuse flying about the show on Facebook. Serves Man City right in a way since they tried to play hardball with his transfer over the summer, not that I'm trying to condone his actions. Daft muppet.

It's come back to bite them. If a player wants away you have to let him go. Nasri? Arteta (great call by Moyes)?

Tevez wanted away and City wanted their pound of flesh. Now they suffer. Overshadows a poor poor performance btw.

So Willy. Give in to the ugly one's demands - even though he pledged himself 5 seconds before he changed his mind?

Phhoke im. Let him stew.

English football is so phooked.
Who's next to throw their rattle out of the pram? Van Persie? Suarez? Torres? All those English players?

They are in it for de muny. Nothing else. If it doesn't suit them, they are gone. God Bless Zola and Bergkamp. Spot de differ?

Living in a bubble. Sometimes think Premiership footballers have no concept of how fortunate they are. Think it's literally unbelievable a player refuses to play on that kind of money.

Amusing though, given the massive billboard Manchester City paid for to goad their rivals when they 'snatched' Tevez from under their nose. Once again Ferguson is left looking like one of the shrewdest judges of a players character in the game.

Watch Kenny at Liverpool. He has Kuit and a few Scousers who will always be solid. The rest... foreigners - he will choose carefully.

He will build from the bottom up too. That is essential. Not just for De Pool. But for English football. Fergie is busy with it too. He always was.

True. Fergie knew to keep Giggs and to lose Keane when his engine was spent. As well as his ego overstepping his intelligence and usefulness.

Lost Stam (he told the truth about the Neville Bros not being real live singers - just dickheads). Lost Van Nistelrooy at the right time.

He is the best manager since Jock Stein and Bob Paisley.

Funny thing is... they were all born and reared yards from each other.

Fergie learned from them. Big Time.
