First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of pub regulars. We've got the big group pic from the HEC final in Cardiff, plus insets of ll those who couldn't make it

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

a quote from Gatland:

"We are in New Zealand and not in the bubble of Wales and listening to the pundits every day or any negativity that sometimes comes out of Wales."

This I think has been a huge difference, and of a massive benefit for our team.

This match is v v tense, can't believe the lineout stats.

All the basics of outside half play are optional extras as far as Cooper is concerned.

Grow his hair a bit and dye it blonde, wear tighter shorts and fake tan.

Some big calls made there by the ref. I don't really know how the Wallabies got the win. It was a difficult match to watch as I didn't know who to support as I don't like either side! All I can say to that is 'Go All Blacks'.

They didn't play ugly, they played badly - but still won, that is a class side. Cooper looked like a soccer player in his first game of rugby, undoubted skill just doesn't 'get it'.

I think Ireland did Oz a favour early on. They are battle hardened for NZ now.
How did they win that? Pocock & Elsom were immense.

The plot thickens.

Now for Felipe's last RWC game. Sad NZ will have far too much for them though. Hope Argentina hold them for most of it and have a real go. Nothing to lose..

Hope Argentina make a game of this next one. It'll be interesting to see how Colin Slade goes.

Yeah, badly too then. Cooper did some crazy things as usual. Seriously don't know how we got through that match... actually I do - sheer bldyi determination and guts... nothing fancy, unaided by poor execution and a few lucky breaks.
