He's a much better full back than winger to be fair to the lad. I think Booth made a mistake playing him there, and should have started Delon on the wing really.

I'm prob just expecting too much from him due to his kicking.

Bob may not be the most mobile stnick, but he adds balast, experience and leadership to a pack that was seriously lacking in all three of those things yesterday.

I still think Homer would be best if he was developed as an ROG type player.
EDIT: obviously meaning him to play at 10 with that comment.

Not sure about him as a 10 steve, but have often wondered about whether he could play at 12.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
no idea where his best position is or where he is best suited. not a winger for me, has to be 15 or 13 for me. we cant afford not to play tagicakibau and ojo really.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
could work with Ansbro or Hape outside him. I just don't think he'd suit playing outside any of your 10's as things stand. Also you have Shingler (or Bowden I suppose) to play the controlling 12 if you need to.

think Shingler at 12 was more due to their being no-one else. did a good job there though and think he is a good one for the future.

Dragons a completely different side at home. Not at all surprised by that score. particularly without Burns and Faletau

Treviso seem to be improving a lot though - with the number of Italians coming through I wouldnt be surprised if they edge ahead of Scotland if they can find a 9 and 10 combination.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
they've certainly got some good players coming through, I'm interested in seeing how Benvenutti develops, whether they'll play him at 13 or keep him on the wings. They've got a few good young players coming through.

Would people rate a midfield combo of
12. McAlister
13. Roberts
Any thoughts welcome, thanks in advance.

I would Arry, think its quality. McA is good footballer and would have no probs bringing Roberts into the game. Think Roberts is more of a threat at 13 anyway

Thought you weren't a fan of
Roberts pooly??? Bagged him out quite a few times.
I am a massive Roberts fan but think 12 is his position but he could do a job at 13 and interchange

He's been awful over the years Matt. I'll never rate him as highly as some but he had a great WC and deserves the credit.

Think that could work really well Arry mate. Personally think although when on form hes a cracking 12 Roberts has all the traits of a 13 and would be more suited there especially with a ball playing 12 beside him

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
It's a funny one really as whenever he has played outside a footballing 12
At 13 it's never worked but he has the pace
And lines to play there. He is great at 12 on first phase ball. He was best centre at the world cup with nonu another 12 who you would think would work well at 13 but does not.
My boys are currently training in a swimming pool in anticipation of this weeks games being played under water.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
I don't have a problem with it all, but I'm not a season ticket holder, so I don't lose out in any way if they were to do it.
If it benefits the club financially, and in terms of increasing fan base and raising the profile of the game globally, then I think it is something they have to explore.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Anyone see the news reports that Johnson has been told he can stay on IF he gets rid of the coaching set up and stops this being a Leicester Tigers affair - think I read that all but one of the coaches has been in some way affiliated with Leicester.
Reckon this could be paving the way for Edwards to come into the setup, along with a few others who can actually coach! Reckon Mallinder must be high up on their wish list alongside Toby Booth?

Fuimaono-Sapolu gets on Twitter again and goes for Owen Farrell! Maybe Gloucester should take away his account...
“To young rugby players do not be arrogant. If you want to be tough on the field make sure you back it up off it.#farrell.
“Love it when players talk big on the field in front of the camera. I like to see if they still talk big off the field when no cameras around.
“Raised in New Zealand and Samoa, I’ve never had that s**t before ever. Good luck bro when you tour round my parts.
“What goes on the pitch stays on the pitch?? Don’t use the pitch to showcase your FAKE toughness you Cat s**t.”

Sure I seen Edwards was likely to sign with a Welsh club. Can't see Mallinder coming in unless it's for head coach.

Toby Booth isn't good enough to be involved with England. Mallinder is.

I thought that was pretty quick for me to be up on something! What did Farrell do during the game? Couple of people have said he's a tad arrogant, but normally that's a trait that can make you a top player!
Mallinder is a class coach, but would anyone really want to join the RFU now as they are a shambles that has held back English rugby for best part of a decade.

Farrell said to EFS....'Tweet about this b**ch' at the end of the game.
anyone keep a track on there try scorers? Just done a tally up, Basson has 6 for me in the league so far, might have just earnt himself a start over JP Pieterson and Tagicakibau this weekend.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Pooly I reckon Edwards will end up in the England set up, Wasps are definitely losing him, so can't see why someone as patriotic as him would leave England. If ENgland don't come sniffing around for him then there is a real issue.
Wonder if Farrell will get in trouble for saying that - for me if EFS gets fined or suspended then so should Farrell - no need for that sort of thing really, should just have a punch up instead.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
He's been coaching Wales cos the RFU f*cked up majorly - he was told he could have a defence coach role with the Saxons, which to be fair was pretty much an insult to the bloke - whilst the RFU offered him that the Welsh RFU put him and Gatland in a helicopter, took him for a tour of Wales and did everything they could do to get their man. Dallagio at the time said it was a huge c*ck up by the RFU...

Alright guys it's Arry here, this is just a temporary account at the minute. Basically I've forgotten my password to my proper account and can't login, I've tried to get 606v2 to email me my password to me, however my hotmail account has been blocked for some strange reason and I can't access it. I've applied for it to be unblocked and it says it may take up to 24 hours for anything to happen. I could do with someones email address to email them my line up and tacitcs to if things aren't sorted out before Thursday, cheers.
