Shows how good kaino was that burger was not in with shout of best 6 of tournament despite being outstanding. Still prefer him at 7 where he played most of his career but can't leave out brussow and with burgers work rate you get an open sides pace with blind side physicality and number 8s hands.

He was going to be stormers 8 about 2 years ago played a lot there.
but vermaulens emergence and the other flanks not kicking on meant he move to 6. Think he would be a cracking hari type 8

6 was a great position at wc

Bonnaire
Lydiate
Ferris
Burger
Kaino
Elsom
Stroks

Some list

If Woods lacks a skill it's carrying, can't see him at 8. He's a 6/7 all day long, just don't think him and Croft work well together

Not enough of a ball carrier currently but has the skill set. Thing is 8s read the game and often stop going into breakdowns etc and cover back for kicks etc. get the feeling he likes the breakdown too much.

Watching rugby club about Barritt try. Still never a try as they are saying.
Know loads of people who were behind the posts and admittedly glos fans but all said defo no try.

Ap will be different now main boys back. Pdj bench for saints did not expect that thought he would have mujatis place

I didn't tbh. Think he'll take a bit longer to bed in and playing LH hasn't helped. Mujati has been poor, if he doesn't pick up he'll soon be out. Nice option to have I suppose.

Wasn't convinced with Barritt try myself but can see why they gave it

Always said pdj mint th poor lh. Not dual sided for me. Like they said on programme only ref can give benefit of doubt to attacking side Tmo can't. Geoff warren was TMO a Bristol man. He sat on my disciplinary when sent off and I appealed. I had letter from opposition saying ref had wrong player and still banned me for 60 days.

Later overturned after 28 days

Guys what do people think of Christian Wade now? He just won Opta peformance of the month - just don't know what everyone thinks of how he would go in this game, or whether he'd need to get into an England squad before he is rated?

Guys with the WRL5 collapsing i have offered them a lifeline which could benifit us in terms of improving the Hieno and Amlin.

They are 3 managers on here who arn't AP managers but are all on the waiting list. What i am suggesting would kill two birds with one stone.

The AP game has long needed some competitive fixtures against foreign teams in the European games. So what i am suggesting is Pull , Bathite and Fluxy manage the European sides in the Heineken cup. Would make the AP more competitive on that front and keep you guys involved in the whole fantasy rugby mold.

They are some crease to iron out but it could be done!

How would this run with this league beng constant and foreign transfers etc?!?! Interesting idea but could be difficult to bring in and could potentially ruin this game

Foreign coaches for England from looks of it - Mallet head of the queue with Johnson staying on as Manager, if he agrees to that. They want an experienced coach with potentially only Rowntree and Ford keeping their jobs...

They wouldn't be involved with transfers they would just submit a team sheet and give some tactics and that would be it. As daft as it sounds we'd be grooming them in case anyone drops out of here.

be tough for them, for example if someone takes over toulouse, they have lost johnston, poux, servat, picamoles, jauzion, poitrenaud, bezy, mcallister, burgess and more.

Isn't the ruling that you have all players available unless they are in the opposition team?

IE: When when Toulouse play Glaws , Toulouse won't be able to play Guthro Steenkamp

I simply don't see the enjoyment they'd get out of play 6 matches at least a season and having a very depleted squad. I understand the idea of getting people involved but I'd be so annoyed if it ruined this game.

I just don't think it will work.

You leave Cip's out of this Driver!

Be interesting year for him next year, he's going to have O'Connor and Beale playing in the same backline, alongside Mortlock. Could see a huge improvement, if he doesnt learn from those players he never will do!

Not sure about that backline at all cips, Beale and Mitchell all calamitous in defence.

Not sure about vuna either.
If they get decent ball they can attack well. How often has JOC played 12. We all think he will do well but still need to see it first. Think 13 would suit him

Blues look very strong for next season.

Nonu is a massive signing. Lost Payne and Afoa but still have Woodcock, Williams, Kaino, Mealamu, Nonu.

I have no idea at all. Fly Half would be nice. maybe Elton Jantjes at the Lions would be ideal and perhaps realistic in terms of the players we can currently attract.

I suspect there will probably be another forward after the injury to Fourie and Sheridan.

Little shocked they let Neil Briggs move to Bourgoin myself in French D2.

Wouldn't be surprised to see some one on a short deal who is looking for a quick pay check.

Simon Shaw? Ideal replacement for Chesney

Briggs wasn't Diamonds type. I was upset he left but understandable with Ward, Jones and Taylor seen as better options at Hook.

Shaw would be a decent option. Would be a greta foil for Myall.

Still a fair few predos to come in.

That was a poor result for Falcons last night, must beat your main rivals for the drop at home if you are going to stay up really.
