Awful result for Irish, I bet Pete/Nick are not happy boys.

don't rate Weepu mate - think he's the best of a bad bunch of NZ scrumhalves.
how did Irish lose - that's them on an uphill struggle now, can't see them qualifying at all.
cant wait for Munster v Saints...

I must admit I'm kind of with you on Weepu although he had a great WC. Doussain is good shout, very different to Simpson & Phillips too.

There's only one Tommy Bowe!!!
What a dire game though. He seems canny Chris, Ospreys fans don't seem to rate him though.

That's because he;s not as good as Mike Phillips ;-)
Love how Ospreys have banned their players from using fake tan.
This game is so boring...do love the Heineken Cup though, rugby from noon-8pm each weekend!
Are Sarries playing tomoorw?

Pooly see that Calum Clark is starting again - definite now starting choice for Saints think he could be another who gets into England 6Nations squad...

Going to be a tasty game this - hate Munster, another team who put the boot in and cheat as much as they can.
What a great try, absolutely fantastic!

No Dowson isnt mate - Clark is first choice for Saints, he's been playing brilliantly - not just saying it because he's in my team, but watch his breakdown work. Look at his work in support the ball carrier too, always binds and secures the ball. Lineout work is great too.
The Russian wing is class, wonder if people will go for him in the transfer window!

Simpson's a top quality no9 - never said he was finsihed article but he's improved over last 12 months. Think Dickson at Saints is very underated, he's better than Wiggles I think.
Wish Hartley always played like this - its the big games he does well, but doesnt always back up the performances - say the one against Wales when Gatland slated him.

Funny how everyone sees scrum so different - he looks like he's getting a good shove on for Saints, whose scrum is going forward all the time.

Quality try from Howlett. Garbage attempt of a tackle from Clark on Murrey caused that.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
So both Munster tries shouldnt have been allowed - first was a block on Ashton that took him out the game and second was a blatant knock on and then two blockers on Foden.
They are like Leicester in that they get away with everything and anything. Think Munster are my most disliked team...

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Clark was very good Pooly, was at the heart of the breakdown and stopped a lot of turnover ball by securing it.
Looking back at the game, you have to feel for Saints as (i) first try was a penalty for Saints for taking Ashton off the ball (ii) second try was a knock on by Munster and then a penalty for taking Foden off with two blockers and (iii) satrt of the 37 phase move was two penalties for Saints - first their no6 jumping over the top of a maul and then O'Connell coming in from the side.
Nigel Owens cost Saints the win, getting those three decisions wrong - think he bottled it and allowed Munster to do what they wanted at the breakdown. Bad refereeing decisions today from him. Mallinder will be well p issed off....

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Thought Clark was poor in the 60mins I seen, that bump of Connor was criminal. A flanker shouldn't be getting bumped by a scrum half, shows he needs to tighten up his game but still really young. He's a good prospect

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Foden played really well and Saints front 5 gave Munster loads of issues. I think the Downey try was forward too Chris before the Munster hand. Always get rub of the green at home. Good game

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Pooly, Foden bumped about 4-5 Munster forwards during the game, it happens - doesnt mean they have to tighten up their games, Clark is very hard tackler and good technique. Think he's a talent who could develop well if given more game time, Saints managemetn think very highly of him. Wood was immense too.
Can't believe Owens didnt penalise Munster in the buildup to the drop goal - what a shocking decision with their no6 climbing over a maul and then O'Connell coming round the side, was so blatant. 17 points shouldnt have been given.
Was very impressed with Lawes defensive work today, he needs to work onhis ball carrying and he'll become top class.
If only the Russian didnt drop that ball - certain try that. Personally think Saints were robbed in that.

It was a front on tackle at zero pace, Clark will get a bollocking for that, real poor play that led to Munster try. Was a good game, Munster side not great but a force at home. Losing BP isn't too bad for Saints

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Is it on TV Pete?
Saw that Wade started taking conversions. He's potentially our versions of Shane Williams - saw him last weekend and didnt realise how damn fast he is. He's also about 4ft 5...
Bordeaux are a poor, poor team though - think Wasps are on about 5 tries at the moment
What try was it on Pooly? The one that should have been disallowed for taking Ashton off the ball or the one where there was a knock on and then Foden got blocked? Neither should have been given. First game where I've been disappointed with Owens.
Catching up on the league now - tell you what the right wing Ryan Hall can finish, scored a cracker again.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Mujati was good in the scrum. Did a job on Munster throughout.
Northampton were by far the better side from what I saw (although drink impared) and Foden had a stormer. Him, Dagg and Beale the top 15's in the world. Next year will likely decide the order of the trio. Dagg had a great world cup but to consider him the best in the world on a good world cup is naive but if he continues current form then the title is his.
Dickson was class today. The boy needs to be given a go with England. He offers the calm, assured play which Youngs and Care don't always give.

That would be a unbelieveable coup. Suspect he'd go tot Bath though, More Saffers etc.
We have got one forward lined up already of the Richie Gray calibre according the the Sale Sharks journalist at Manchester Evening News. Assuming that isn't BDP then it appears we are finally using the salary cap properly.
Last season Sale had the most expensive squad apparently. Paid our players the more money than anyone else in AP.
