The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing pictures of Doug Howlett above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

One other thing, Asbo: will we be under cover at Sandy Park? I know the forecast is for rain, but if we're not going to be standing out in it for long I won't bother bringing an umbrella.

Lucky, I've been thinking, do you want to get an earlier train up to Cardiff tomorrow, so you can leave your things at my flat? save you taking it all with you to Llanelli and back
And goooood morning! Happy Friday. Not sure how I'm going to manage any work today at all.

Bore da, Dreamer. Thanks for the offer, but I'll only have a rucksack with me so I should manage!
I'm going to get the bus to Cardiff tomorrow and get the train from there. I live on a bus route and I'd be travelling away from Cardiff if I went to Newport station. It's the 12.48, isn't it?

Yep the 12:48, and there will be a change at Swansea.
Someone remind me tomorrow when we are getting a taxi from the station to the stadium, to ask the taxi driver to arrange to pick us up again from the stadium at about 6:15pm! We might get back to the station a bit early for the 6:35pm train, but I'd rather do that then miss it, and have to wait a whole other hour for another one!

American Christmas jokes, dontchaluvem?
"The Teacher asked young Patrick Murphy: "What do you do at Christmas time?
Patrick addressed the class: "Well Ms. Jones, me and my twelve brothers and sisters go to midnight mass and we sing hymns; then we come home
very late and we put mince pies by the back door and hang up our stockings.
Then all excited, we go to bed and wait for Father Christmas to come with all our toys.
"Very nice Patrick," she said. "Now Angelo Ianucci , what do you do at Christmas?"
Well, Ms. Jones, me and my sister also go to church with Mom and Dad and we sing Ave Maria , dance the Tarantella and when we get home we put
almond cookies and Amaretto by the chimney and we hang up our stockings. We hardly sleep, waiting for Santa Claus to bring our presents.
Realizing there was a Jewish boy in the class and not wanting to leave him out of the discussion, she asked, "Now, Isaac Cohen, what do you do at Christmas?"
Isaac said, "Well, it's the same thing every year...Dad comes home from the office. We all pile into the Rolls Royce; then we drive to Dad's toy factory. When we
get inside, we look at all the empty shelves...And begin to sing: What A Friend We Have in Jesus ..........Then we all go to the Bahamas ."

Ah nice one Stag. How'd you enjoy the ale? (you've not had any before right?)
There's loads of Christmas stalls in the city centre at the moment and they're well worth a look.

A stomach full, Lucky!
ooooooooo crumbs, I don't know what to do with myself! Our front row replacements aren't the best, other then that I'm really, really happy with the team.

If you can hold your own up front against Northampton, you should be able to hold your own against Munster. Discipline will be important, though, O'Gara doesn't miss many.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
exactly, that's why we're starting with J Edwards on the bench!
Munster side looks really good though, Zebo and Mafi starting in the backs, and they've got a brilliant front row. Two very evenly matched teams imo.

Lucky -
That's a good side Mick, will have a look around to see if I can find the Llanelli one, but I know some of our regional players will be starting. Should be a great match that on the Sunday.

Jamie Hagan must be so glad at the moment. Fortunately he got away from having to play against big mean sides like Harlequins and Toulouse.

He's at Leinster long term. Better coaching, better facilities, better players around him. All for the greater good in the end.
