First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing pictures of Doug Howlett above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Good to see there were no major casualties from the weekend, there were a few weary looking soldiers at the Pulteney Arms yesterday afternoon - and there was still another game to go...

Nice meeting you all, hopefully next time we'll get the chance to sink a few more together before you have to shoot. OK

Still can't see the Donald angle, but I think it might stick thanks to Penfro & Asbo. Very Happy

Cheers all. guinness

Or Castre and watched poor Saints run in 4 tries and stiil not get a LBP!

Or Treviso and see Biarritz score 4 tries and still lose to a side who only scored 3!

Evening All.

Hope everyone's well. I haven't had the best start to the week. Went to work with a stinking cold, only to slip on black ice and hurt myself. Must've looked hilarious to everyone else, although two people helped me up without laughing. Just bruised and sore now. Feel like I've played rugby today.

Aye. I'll survive Glas. Just bruised down one side, and got a gash on my leg. Was really strange though, because there was absolutely no frost or ice in Cardiff and it didn't look frosty out the bus window.

Anyway, I hope that the regs enjoyed their weekend - judging by the silence on here I'd say they did. Smile

Stevie Ferris was at my work today! There I was calmly going about my business when a shadow blocked out all the light surrounding me. The man is HUGE. Ashamed to say I didn't have the stones to approach him for a chat. I have no problem approaching random women when out but pro rugby players meh we all have our weaknesses.

Cari - big Hug for you!

Evening all.

I have had a brilliant weekend. Weirdly, I don't even mind too much that the Scarlets lost (and considering what a nervous wreck I was before the match that's saying a lot!) We just didn't play well enough to win.

Was brilliant to meet Subs at Y Parc and also PJ in Bath, even though I didn't get the chance to speak to him much (sorry!).

Twas just a wonderful weekend with amazing people, so thank you to everyone but especially Asbo, the man's brilliant, especially for having to put up with all of us this weekend! Smile

Thanks to Prop as well for driving us back to the Diff. Went on the Millenium Stadium tour with Stag, not sure the tour guide was impressed with me when Stag told him why I didn't go to the Wales v Australia match though!

Hope everyone's well OK

Over the weekend the record price for Texel ewes was broken twice at 26,000 guineas and 32,000 guineas. Headscratch

I mean with a tup you can use AI and get hundreds of lambs a year. With an ewe even with ET the number of progeny is limited. Madness I tell you.

I'm only sorry it wasn't classic Scarlets. That's 13 on the bounce against Munster now. I think we need to work out how to beat them and we may do OK. Next week is a one off and should be treated as such.

Buenas tardes, amigos! Brilliant weekend, had a terrific time, great to meet up with so many regs. Thanks Prop for the lift to the airport, took off on time, tailwind meant it was ahead of time into Embra. Am staying at The Avonbridge tonight rather than go home to a cold house, so have had lovely dinner with Himself (good), had to watch Chelsea v Man C in the bar after (bad). Away to my wee Heiland hame tomorrow, early before the threatened snow and wind blow in. Catch you all when I get home.

Evening all

Just a quick update. Gbson arrived at lunchtime as we were about to go out to our Get Fit class - left him in the capable hands of my son.

Came back home and were about to take puppy and Gibson out for a walk when Chef arrived (he had detoured via Weston Super Mud for some reason - and he has been there before so no excuse for this deplorable detour).

So kitted up Chef and Gibson for a walk on Mendip - photos to follow in theFB pub.

Went for a SHORT walk with puppy, G and C. Out on top of Mendip, gale force winds blowing, blew ALL the cobwebs away. Been to the Pony and Trap for dinner this evening - thanks lads - had a super meal. About to go to bed as Chef is leaving at 6.30 in the morning. Taking Gibson to the vet in the morning (don't ask Rolling Eyes ) and then will send him on his way.

Super weekend - hope all enjoyed it.

I have but half a voice left today.

Puma - glad you got home safe and sound, hope the house is all okay when you get back to it!

Got woken up about 3 times last night by the wind outside and my bedroom literally shaking, that's one of the negatives of living right at the top of a building!
