The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the picture of Maxime Medard* above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?
Last Pub: https://www.606v2.com/t21314-the-dew-drop-inn-virtual-rugby-pub
* While the other suggestion of Owens, Thomas and Hughie had merit, I couldn't face having Hughie's mug on the wall

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Awkward moment in the gym today. Casually rowing in sync with the fit lass next to me, and I subconsciously increase the pace in a bid to impress her. She then drops and absolute bomb and went all Steve Redgrave on me without even breaking sweat. She finishes 2 minutes later (by this stage I'm gasping) smiles down at me and said 'that was fun' before strolling off. If anyone in the Lisburn area would like to pick up my pride for the upper level of gym tech 2000 Lisburn leisure Plex and pm it to me I would greatly appreciate it. There's not much of it left though.
I would have asked for her number but I suspect she'd break me like a stallion and I don't need anymore depressing events to kick off 2012.

Oh,
And a friend of mine told me that she hid a packet of sweets under the stuff in her 10 year old son's wash bag when he went on a school trip.
He never found them!

I won't ignore you Cari. I'm well thanks and I hope you are too. I remember your excitement from last year very well but I am horrified to realise it's a whole year ago
Thanks Rava I'm OK. Work is keeping me very busy which is good.

Still can't believe that was a year ago Cari, that's such a special memory to have
I have part filled out an application form! Have managed the past employers and education bit. Am hoping to fill out the person spec bit by Sunday, but am not holding my breath. Why do this forms always have to be so boring?
Also, how on earth is the Keith Earls at centre debate still going on outside?!

Dreamer i can't believe it either. ive admitted to being taking the pish about 4 times but people (Ulster fans) take it v seriously .
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
oh, I haven't been on it, I gave up after like page 4, but I keep seeing that it's been commented on. how??
Also just been looking at the Wales U20's squad that was announced today. 8 Scarlets in it so well happy with that.
But one name of note was Tom Prydie. Isn't it crazy he's still playing for the U20's, when he got his full senior international cap 2 years ago?
Also just realised that George North is still able to play U20's. Mental how young he is, I keep forgetting.

In the middle of doing some accounts with Invoices etc spread all over the dining table. Mrs R kindly brings a cup and a Jaffa. Lifted the cup, handle came off and invoices soaked

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I suspect you are just as likely to get a "doorstep" as a prawn sarnie at Ravenhill.
Unless you go for the "Dinner in a tent with a heater" option, in which case your doorstep might be upgraded to a toastie!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Talking of the "tent" Mrs P. My son-in-law has booked a table in there for Friday Night to entertain some clients £1400.00 for 10 people including match tickets.
Limited "free" bar before the game and a Chicken dinner with Starter and sweet.
Don't think that's worth £140.00!!

Perhaps I'll include straws in my list of business start-up necessities, thereby reducing the potential risk of liquefying invoices

Me either Rava.
I hope it drums up some business for him!
Is that where you will be?
I take it you get a seat in the new stand to watch the game after or do you just keep eating through the match?
