First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the picture of Maxime Medard* above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Ale cuppa coffee mug guinness cider RedWine Bubbly

* While the other suggestion of Owens, Thomas and Hughie had merit, I couldn't face having Hughie's mug on the wall Wink

So there was nun of this or nun of that Stag Wink

Morning All. cuppa Quite frosty this morning.

The biggest game at Ravenhill in a long long time. Confidence is high. This could be the next "step" that all teams allude to. Judging from the comments yesterday (mostly fair), Ulster have yet to convince that they are serious challengers on the European stage. Tonight will provide the answers to a lot of those questions. SUFTUM.

Rav, I’m looking forward to this game myself. told herself I’m going to the pub for a match at 8 o’clock, she can come with but I will be ignoring all non-rugby chat. She decided to stay at home Smile

Just now my tiger taming powers are at a fairly low ebb I have to say. Just off back to bed to recuperate and get my temp down.

The players will have to feel my support tonight as I may not be at full volume.

Hughie - am almost tempted to pick them myself (I could never actually go through with it!) with the rumours about Monty possibly not playing. He's been our form back. Tough tough game, Saints deffo favourites, sensible choice for those who don't understand the magic the HEC can work on the Scarlets Wink

Morning all, frosty sunny morning here.

Question, does this count as "gloating"?

Either way, living near Heathrow means I'll have a chance of spotting it.

Morning all. Nearly at Gatwick en route to Rovigo. Andy had to pull out of this trip at the last minute as his mum has taken a serious turn for the worse. He's heading up north to see his folks.

I feel for him, but it is odd doing an away trip without him.

Sorry to burst your bubble Notch but George Hook said that one didn't count because Toulouse played poorly. If we win tonight it won't count either because we have a load of saffers in the side.

Thanks for the good wishes folks, and your thoughts have been passed to Andy. His mum isn't expected to make it. The big C is a bitch. Got both of mine too.

I'm in the Flying Horse (JDW) at Gatwick with a pint of Adnams Old Ale for company. Haven't had a drop of this stuff for many a year. Yum!

What's even better dreamer, is that I'm at a table with an adjacent socket and am on the pub's free wi-fi. So much quicker when posting stuff.

An hour to blast off - better visit Boots to get a mini Lynx deodorant. That's the trouble with low cost airlines. If you don't want to pay to put your bag in the hold (in which case all 'normal size' toiletries can go in the bag), you have to buy expensive 100ml bottles of stuff airside.
