Munster v Leinster
First topic message reminder :
Here we go again.
Travelling in hope but not expectation. Would be great to win this one, but I would settle for a LBP and no (more) injuries.
Apparently there is hope on Mike Ross and Jamie Hagan. No word on White. They usually release an injury update on Mondays at lunchtime.
Don't fancy facing DuPreeyahhh and Botha with Jack McGrath at th. It was a credit to him as a first year LOOSE head prop that he did not get injured in those scrums against some serious experience and power

Leinster could have lost all their remaining games and still finished top of the league. They are certainly dominating on both domestic and european fronts. What a team they have. The commentators seems to fancy Glasgows chances in Munster but I certainly don't.

Sorry Billy, this is no time to display class and sportsmanship. Those qualities in a fan are inappropriate in the week of an all-Ireland (and British) tie in Europe. Catch yourself on.

Also, Munster were rock solid throughout the game and prevented Leinster scoring a try. All credit to them, and good luck next weekend for the real challenge!

ah to be fair you were out on your feet.
good win for leinster. better last 20 minutes. at last started creating. one concern would be a a touch of white line fever and our discipline at times is infuriating.
classy cameo from madigan.
munster were not great but HC next week will be a different kettle of fish depending on their injuries

Was a cracking game but Leinster were better. Thomond is not an easy place to come and get a result.

They've had a load of injuries this season, if Poc is missing I think we can definitely take them, if Ferris makes it.

I think Ulster have a good chance of beating this Munster team next week - particularly if they are stupid enough to start Horan in the front row, he was very lucky not to get pinged more against Ross and amazingly Ross was pinged twice for Horan's infringements.
Roman Poite is the ref and whoever is winning the scrum tends to do well in games he officiates, bring on Court, Best, Afoa vs Du Preez, Varley, Botha

Yep boss, totally lost the essence of what Bath Rugby is all about, the years have been mighty barren in terms of silverware, but they've always had that little spark of magic and unpredictability - like France when they run the ball but haven't got a clue where, why or how - the last 2/3 seasons have been dire in rugby terms, Bath ain't winning and they aren't even entertaining when they're losing.
It's hurtin' boss, and Geech has to go - he's not really a club man and he's definitely not a Bath man, too conservative, too cautious and nae laissez faire time to hit the road SIM.
Still, congratulations to the "Boy's in Blue" I've got no axe to grind as a neutral, but Leinster played or tried to play all the rugby and got their just rewards in the end.

Northhampton absolutely destroyed the Munster scrum but where hammered because Poite's reffing of the breakdown suits Munster perfectly. They are used to struggling in the scrum and tend to work around it.

Next, we shall talk of Womans Own knitting patterns and their affects on the Sexual Revolution.
Sheesh. Its hard work sometimes.
For all of my Munster mates out there. A wee ditti from a Donegal/Cork biy, Ive loved for 30 years...

Re: Munster v Leinster
I thought it was a poor game. The first half was a farce because of the scrum, or the inability of Owens to ref it. The second half was an improvement but just way too many handling errors for teams as good as these. Good defence by both teams, so not all bad. Nacewa was head and shoulders above everyone else.
I hope that game knocks the rustiness out of both Munster and Leinster for next weekend.
