First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Georgia, because rugbydreamer wants the Scarlets to find a nice forward out there.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of birthday boy Hughie, Chris Budgen, Leo Cullen, Brian O'Driscoll, Paddy Wallace, Tomas O'Leary and a red faced Ronan O'Gara on the wall.

Ale cuppa coffee mug guinness cider RedWine

Oh shoite!

Commiserations As, that was heartbreaking. Really hope you can take some solace from the performance they put in.

Watching the game it doesn't seem like 5 minutes since I watched their games to gain promotion. They've come one hell of a long way since then and that has to be clap They've still achieved a phenomenal amount Hug

Hard lines Chiefs. Gutted.

Just realised I miss Crosskeys v Ebbw Vale next weekend as I'm away again (I thought it was the weekend after). Was going to have a few pints with my dad and Godfather too. Ach well.

Night all.

Saw the Stade - Chiefs result this morning. Gutting. They're the only Jeff side I've watched live this season and although they beat us both times, I've sort of adopted them. I also saw that Mieres is a nominee for ERC player of the season, which is quite an achievement.

True Glas. Positive thinking...

Just watching the news and they're saying from today in England tobacco products will be hidden behind a screen in shops. What's the point of that when you see people having a fag right outside the shop anyway?

Yep, that's the way to stop teenagers taking up smoking - by hiding cigarettes away, making them more mysterious and increasing the allure of the forbidden fruit. Doh

If it stops just one teenager starting smoking then it will be worth it!

Morning all cuppa . Raining here and very cold. Not Easter weather.

Hopefully Tomy Bowe will be back to full fitness for the start of next season.

Morning. Jeebus Cari bad news on Bowe.

Didn't realise he was suffering from high blood pressure. Seems there were a few things going on behind the scenes there that would in part explain his subdued form over the past while.

Hope he gets back to full health and top form soon.

Bummer that he won't run out for the Ospreys again Sad

Rodders, yeah you just don't know. Actually me and him share the same medical condition. I have high blood pressure but mine's genetic not due to something else...it's quite difficult to diagnose as well.

Anyhoo, wrong thread...

No snow here, Cari - we seem to have missed most of it by a whisker, but it has been very cold. Checked out the forecast and seems to be quite mild over the weekend. I can take the frost covers off my veg seedlings in the garden, then think about what to put in my case for Dublin.

Think we will be meeting up tomorrow, Hugh? If you are a good boy, I will let you carry my camera again. Just for a treat like.

Not sure what the weather is like in Dubloons but its fairly mild and wet up here today. Typical spring weather.

Hope its not to warm in Limerick for my new Ulster beanie hat! Yahoo

Rodders - it's never too hot in Ireland for a beanie hat! Wink
