The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Cross Keys
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Cross Keys, as their team is in the British and Irish Cup Final.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Richie McCaw, George Smith, Robert Nash,Billy Holland, John Muller, Greg Laidlaw, Aurelien Rougerie, Leo Cullen, Rhys Thomas and Iestyn Thomas.

He has indeed played well Lucky.
Can't remember seeing him have a bad game to be honest.
He would be a nailed on certainty for the shirt if he was fit.
Getting nervous now.

Are you allowed to book test drives even if you have no intention of buying the car? Do they do a background check to see if you're poor?

Henry is a huge loss. Losing his carrying ability would hurt any team
Ulster will still be to strong for Embra though, I'm sure 1f will make up any difference that is lost

hmm, not sure on my picks, changed my mind about 3 times which is not like me on SG. Think my 2nd place spot in the league might be lost. We shall see. I'm just finding both SF's so hard to call!

Because he hasn't been as good as Jackson; right now, Jackson is a better player.
Humphreys has managed to play his way out of the team.

That elephant is everywhere stag!
Honestly though I doubt it, I'm sure no player would trade their GS medal for anything....... this is very special too, magic.... provincial rugby just means so much........
Sorry its your turn to miss out stag ....but hey I've had sooo much fun and excitment watching Leinster and Munster in the HEC cup KO stages over the last decade!... almost as good as watching Ireland ,no as good, get yourself on the Leinster/ Ulster bandwagon!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Cross Keys
Rodders, I'll probably be there at work. I've had to draw up three different packages: Leinster v Ulster, Leinster v Edinburgh and Ulster v Clermont
I'll enjoy it anyway. I loved the ERC final last year and this season I have seen all 4 provinces play in the Heineken Cup. I was actually half thinking of coming up to Edinburgh game tomorrow just for the buzz but may not.

I know there are tickets floating around but its a cash situation as well. I possibly could afford it but I'd need to head away pretty quick after match too. May just watch from home and enjoy the final instead.
I have to say I really like watching neutral games in the stadium. You can appreciate things more so than when you want your team to win.

Let me check out tickets. Ive no interest heading up with no ticket.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Cross Keys
I see there is talk of Viadana replacing Aironi in the Pro 12.
They play in same stadium FFS.
Its like Cardiff Blues disbanding and being replaced by Cardiff RFC.

For dear sake Stag!
We have to be in Antrim at 1pm (best case scenario) and we are definately going.
Bikkies, Rodders and Rava! I'm relying on you guys to delay the kick off for us if necessary!

Ah yes but thats a labour of love MrsP.
Im just a fella up for watching a casual game of rugby with no ticket and a slight inclination to watch the game live rather than on telly.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Cross Keys
Where did you see that Aironi/Viadana thing Stag ?
"Aironi represent the Italian regions of Lombardy and Emilia Romagna ........ The formation of the team was made possible by the co-operation of eight existing rugby clubs Rugby Viadana 54%, Colorno 15%, Gran Parma Rugby 10%, Rugby Parma 10%, Noceto 5%, Reggio Emilia 2%, Modena 2% and Mantova 2%.[6] Gran Parma, Rugby Viadana and Colorno have merged as a result of the formation of Aironi to form GranDucato Rugby Parma.[7] Rugby Parma and Noceto have merged to form Crociati (Crusaders) Rugby Parma.[8][9] These mergers are essential as the Super 10 division will attract far less sponsorship as the playing talent and public interest will now focus on the Italian teams in the Rabo Direct Pro 12!"

Afternoon all, and we have a nutter in town here. Some guy with a grievance against a company in the building has taken over an office in Tottenham Court Road and has been lobbing computer equipment into the street from the 5th floor.
According to people he has ‘released’ from the building he has a flamethrower and gas canisters; or maybe a can of Lynx and a lighter
The Met Police have actually sent marksmen to the scene, and are treating this as a hostage situation.

I believe the youngest would sday that is 'mentalist'
Have you seen this ?? https://www.606v2.com/t28343-wasps-should-be-cheering-clermont-and-edinburgh#1171092
Do you think it would be good for Wasps, or would prefer a season on consolidation (and smashing Spanish and Romanian sides) in the Amlin ?

Update, most of my former colleagues have decamped to the pub 4 doors up Tottenham Court Rd, or in a couple of cases to Spearmint Rhino opposite said pub.

Mick, I still have to speak to Chris about timings for tomorrow but at the minute it will probably be Bellamy's pre-game, so if you are arranging for anyone else to meet then make this the venue.

Penfro,
Did you do something similar when you turned 50?
I would ask Gibbo too but it's probably too long ago for him to remember!
Seriously though, hope it all gets resolved with no further trauma.

MrsP - Gibbo would have 'cine film' of it though, no ? We all go a bit mad, but it manifests itself in different ways for different people. I had this insane idea of going to the RWC to watch Wales play
