The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Cross Keys
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Cross Keys, as their team is in the British and Irish Cup Final.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Richie McCaw, George Smith, Robert Nash,Billy Holland, John Muller, Greg Laidlaw, Aurelien Rougerie, Leo Cullen, Rhys Thomas and Iestyn Thomas.

Arghhhh. My house is a mess, every floor needs to be cleaned, there are tottering heaps of business papers to be sorted, there is STUFF everywhere, my aunt arrives on Monday so i need to do something about it - AND I CAN'T BE ORSED!!! Making endless cups of tea and staring at it all. Why am I sitting here telling you about it instead of getting on with it? Motivational advice needed ASAP

I just heard about Amsterdam, Kiwi and thought of good old Gibbo.
Fed up of waiting for this Crosskeys game now. Watching the Rugby League version of Living With Lions (League of Their Own) to kill time. Bit Poopie that Sky are giving the Keys match all of 5 minutes build up though.

Puma - I usually blast on some music to get myself going, it seems to make it all go so much quicker. Queens Greatest Hits II is usually my album of choice.
Start with something easy first, say hoovering. Always find once you actually start, it's never actually so bad. Good luck with it anyways!

Also just had a thought: the more you get done now and a lot of tomorrow, the more time you have to settle yourself in and watch the rugby without having to be in a stress to get everything ready for Monday!

Dreamer's right there, Puma - my dad's school motto was: 'deuparth gwaith ei ddechrau' (two thirds of work is starting it). Once you're in the zone you'll fly through it. If Queen aren't your cup of tea, try 'Flight of the Bumblebee'.

Noooo Puma! Think how good you'll feel when you get it all done, and can concentrate on just the rugby on Sunday and look forward to your Aunt visiting on Monday. You can always catch up again with the radio show online!

Rodders,
UR said there will be flags on some of the seats at the match. They mentioned the lower tier and the premier tier. I'm guessing that means there won't be any on the top tier.
You can also collect some from UR this afternoon.
MrP went down and they said they weren't there yet. He's gone back down.
Where are you sitting again?
Puma,
Big sympathy on the housework front. Too excited to care much myself just now. Just make sure you are able to enjoy both the games at the weekend.
Could you make yourself earn your cuppa by doing a bit of the boring stuff?
Thanks again for the DVD by the way. First half watched but we had to turn in early last night after all the shenaghnigans in the street the night before.

Puma, this aunt that's coming to visit: do you like her? If you don't, you have to ask yourself if it's worth tidying up for her.

It's beside Roly's restaraunt in Ballsbridge. Literally next to the river on the opposite side from the RDS.
If you know where the bridge in ballsbridge is you can't miss it. Call me if you have an probs finding it.

Good question, not the upper tier and not the premier... how many are there?
Don't suppose anyone could pick up an extra couple if they're going anyways?

I've just been asked to run the whisky tasting room when the official work charity runs an event on May 31st. Now that's a good way to spend my last day in a job!

Rodders,
We will almost certainly not have time to meet up before hand. We will be very pleased if we manage to see the teams run out.
We will be in Antrim and Belfast in the morning if you can think of any options to collect them on your way through. What time do you hope to hit Belfast?

Mrs P we had planned to go via Omagh and Monaghan, I'd imagine the traffic will be a lot heavier between Dublin and Belfast?
If not then we can go that way and if so I'd be hoping to hit belfast before 11 am.
I can give you a PM later. Are the flags free or did Mr P have to pay?

Rodders,
To you...£15 each.
Say £40 for the 2 of them and we'll call it quits!
UR said they had ordered 10,000 and there would be 6,000 on seats at the stadium.
You do know I was joking don't you! They are FREE!!!!!!

Penfro – referring to your earlier post. Sorry bud, I had some important shoite to sort out for an hour or so.
I don’t think Wasps deserve to be in the HC based on what we’ve done this season (although I did like the comment about the shirt and kilt on that thread)
It wouldn’t be an issue for Wales or Ireland, but I think the English and French unions should decide on who their extra entry should be if they get one.
Off to the Thornbury Castle>>>>its the weekend and RUGBY TIME!!!

I know it doesn't get called hardly ever, but Munster A were miles in front of the kicker there.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Cross Keys
It'll be 6-6 now after 14 mins. Munster A blew a try by their centre obstructing. If he hadn't have done that, they'd have scored anyway probably. Ref didn't see it though and gave the try initially, but the touch judge flagged and he changed it to a penalty for Keys.
Quinlan's pronounciation of Tovey is annoying.
6-9 to Keys now.

Munster A miss a penalty. Fair result really after Rob Nash was harshly judged to be jackalling off his feet.

Try Munster A. 9 Duncan Williams. Rob Nash in the bin for a silly kick of the ball out of Williams' hands. Keys have their work cut out.
