Barrel's Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub & Restaurant, Luderitz
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has stayed in Africa this week as part of its build up to the Heineken Cup final, and attached itself to Barrels restaurant in Luderitz, Namibia, known for its beer, Eisbein and sing-a-longs.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Simon Danielli, Federico Aramburu and the possibly Auckland-bound Joe Schmidt.

I would love to colour my hair but a mispent youth colouring it every other weekend led to it leaving me
I have really gotton into RL the last two years, cracking game. The defensive lines that they use are excellent.

You know your local Sydney team beat Melbourne 12-10 this afternoon here, Billy. Talk about a defensive game... it was a cracker.
Too much happening right now... all those bloody football games, the RL is delayed here but I'll have a look tomorrow when they replay it. I like watching the Giro d'Italia too.
Hair like Cisse!

I like changing my hair colour, I have a 100% natural plan for my hair colour to change very slowly across the next 50 years.

That was the televised match too. Forshaw Park. Is that where you played?
The Wicks have had a dreadful start. I honestly can't see them coming back but they always bloody do.... surely they can't?
Not possible?

Michael Monaghan... Cari. From the ACT but he played for Manly. Top player - he won the Grand Final for us in 2007.
On the other side (Catalans) is Steve "Beaver" Menzies. My favourite player of all time just about.

Yes, he was part of our winning Bledisloe Cup side in 2001. Born in Ashburton, NZ and only played a couple of tests. I think Stirling Mortlock replaced him in 2002? Just checked... he's 35 now. How time flies!

the Irish are everywhere... you can't keep them out of the game. Right Billy?
Did you see the smile on Gareth Delve's face last night? Big win over the Crusaders... well, epic win actually. Now that Cips is gone the Rebels seem to be firing.

Billy - not fussed on breeding, but it's fun trying
Well I'm lost. I don't know what's offside, a foul or what in RL. That ref is running around with an impressive beer gut tho.

The opposite to union, Cari.... sort of.
Fullback 1, wingers 2 & 5, centres 3 & 4, 5/8 (stand-off) is 6, halfback 7. Sometimes the No.8 is "13" in league... can also be front row "13". Locks are called second-rowers 9 & 10. Note the absence of flankers.... only 13 players per team. Scrums uncontested, no line outs.
Does that help?

You must be looking forward to the warmer weather though... or is that when all the crazies come out in slightly larger numbers?
